ok j'ai retrouvé ma souris qui est passé de /dev/input/mouse0 en /dev/input/mouse2 après la manip du dessus ....
je vais la mettre en /dev/input/mice sous xorg.conf pour voir

ouep, un tuto quand j'aurai réglé le problème de usbhid et wacom...
par contre, pour compiler, j'ai pas eu de soucis.

Voilà ce que j'ai fait mais essayez juste la partie 2 d'abord :

PARTIE 1
----------------------------------------------------------------------
installation des sources 2.6.12 dans usr/src/
dépaquatage puis sudo make oldconfig, sudo make menuconfig (sans rien modifier) puis make

ensuite, installation du xorg-sdk (voir plus haut)

enfin, dépaquetage des sources du drivers
puis ds le dossier du driver :
./configure --enable-wacom --enable-hid --enable-evdev --enable-mousedev --enable-wacom_drv --with-kernel=/usr/src/linux-source-2.6.12/ --with-xorg-sdk=/usr/X11R6/lib/Server/

voilà ... de là, aller dans le dossier src/2.6.11/ du driver et copier les fichiers au bon endroit (cf HOW TO de linux wacom)

PARTIE 2

si vous avez sauté la partie 1 :
copier le wacom_drv.o_xorg du dossier prebuilt/ ua bon endroit (cf HOW TO de linux wacom)

sinon
revenir au dossier supérieur src/ du driver et copier wacom_drv.o là où il faut (cf HOW TO de linux wacom)
etc ...
(bref en gros faut faire le how-to de linux wacom
sauf que une fois sous X après reboot
ben moi je dois faire)

là çà marche mais çà bug donc => CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE pour redémarrer X et c'est OK

A savoir que dans mon xorg :
ma souris est en /dev/input/mice
ma tablette en /dev/input/wacom

bref, essayer le driver prebuilt + les rmmod et modprobe avant de vous lancer dans des compilations sauvages.

Maintenant faut qu'au démarrage wacom soit pris en compte avant usbhid pour la tablette .... dernier problème.

je mettrai tout çà au clair une fois que ma tablette sera reconnue au démarrage .... faites le HOW TO de linux wacom puis rmmod et modprobe ci-dessus pour décharger puis recharger les drivers.

bon.. au démarrage
en faisant : lsmod | grep usbcore
j'ai ceci

usbcore 118204 4 wacom,usbhid,uhci_hcd

lorsque je fais ensuite
sudo rmmod usbhid
sudo rmmod wacom
sudo modprobe wacom
sudo modprobe usbhid
(restart X pour que çà fonctionne bien)

j'ai ceci toujours avec lsmod | grep usbcore

usbcore 118204 4 usbhid,wacom,uhci_hcd

on voit que usbhid et wacom sont inversés et que le syst_me fonctionne

donc toujours le même problème, comment configurer çà au démarrage ?

J'ai toujours pas eu le temps de me pencher sur le problème mais ne serait-ce pas un souci de configuration du xorg?
Genre en gros faire : cat /dev/input/event4 et essayer tous les event en faisant bouger le stylet sur la tablette, si des caracteres bizarres s'affichent dans la console, c'est que c'est le bon

ensuite dans le xorg.conf :
Section "InputDevice"
Driver "wacom"
Identifier "stylus"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/event5"

et refaire pareil avec la souris pour cat ... mouse0, mouse1 ??

EDIT :

J'avais pas vu ! PATFRAT /dev/input/mice POSE DES PROBLEMES il faut mettre mouse0 ou mouse 1 et tu n'auras plus de conflit!

non ce n'est pas le soucis
il est vrai qu'il vaut mieux mettre /dev/input/mouse0 pour la souris
mais y'a clairement un probleme de chargement des modules
wacom devrait se charger avant usbhid et ce n'est pas le cas.
C'est çà qui foire le tout .....et rien d'autre
Evidemment, il faut prendre le driver beta wacom_drv.o sinon la volito2 n'est pas prise en compte.

Je ne sais pas comment definir l'ordre des modules; alors j'ai écrit un petit script goWacom.sh :
sudo gedit goWacom.sh

#! /bin/sh
sudo rmmod usbhid
sudo rmmod wacom
sudo modprobe wacom
sudo modprobe usbhid

Ensuite chmod a+x goWacom.sh
cp goWacom.sh /etc/init.d/goWacom.sh
cd /etc/rc2.d/
ln -s ../init.d/goWacom.sh SXXgoWacom où XX sont des chifres inferieurs à ceux qui figurent avant gdm. (pour que le script soit executé avant le gdm).

Oui pourquoi pas mais ce serait mieux de modifier çà direct au démarrage et de configurer xorg.conf avec /dev/input/mouseX pour la souris (X étant un chiffre) et /dev/input/eventX pour la tablette.

Je me suis rendu compte que gimp ne fonctionne pas bien si j'utilise /dev/input/mice et /dev/input/wacom à la place.

Le problème avec ma solution de rmmod et modprobe et que les références des /dev/input/ se trouvent modifiées.
la souris n'est plus en mouse0 mais en mouse1, la tablette passe de event2 à event1 .... bref, c'est le bordel.

Je cherche encore pour l'histoire des modules mais je crois que je vais faire un post rien que pour çà.

Moi je tourne avec le noyau 2.6.12-9 et ma volito 2 tout bien comme il faut.

Bon, sauf que .... le noyau est passé en 2.6.12-10, que çà ne marchait plus ... et que, du coup, je démarre tjrs en 2.6.12-9 pour profiter de ma wacom et de mes bidouilles pour la faire fonctionner ....

-télécharger la source wacom (0.7.1-2 beta)
-untar la source dans un répértoire (ex: ~/volito)
-compiler:

cd ~/volito
sudo ./configure --enable-wacom
sudo make install

-copier tous dans le bon endroit:

J'ai oublié à signaler que les versions avant la 0.7.1-2b ne marchent pas sur le nouveau noyeau; avec cette version beta, je n'ai pas de problèmes sous le dernier noyeau.

petite correction dans ton explication :
avant sudo make install
il faudrait peut-être faire un simple make

./configure --enable-wacom
make
sudo make install

Ensuite ce n'est pas /lib/modules/kernel/2.6.12-10...
mais plutôt /lib/modules/2.6.12-10/kernel/....
Petite inversion pas grave

Je suis en train de tester là pour voir si ta méthode marche pour passer au noyau 2.6.12-10 ...

sauf qu'il ne faut pas oublier de mettre ceci dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf :

Et également mettre /dev/input/mouseX pour la souris où X est un numéro : chez moi c'est /dev/input/mouse1
Et /dev/input/eventX pour la tablette : chez moi /dev/input/event1

!!! attention, pour savoir quel est le bon numéro, utilisez ceci : !!!
dir /dev/input/
(çà donne la liste des inputs de votre système)
ensuite
sudo xxd /dev/input/eventX (X à remplacer donc par 0,1,2 etc ...
bougez le stylo wacom pour voir si des trucs s'affichent et c'est le bon nuuméro
idem pour la souris.

sinon, je n'ai mis dans mon /etc/X11/xorg.conf que le stylus > Pen
La volito2 ne possède pas d'Eraser donc çà ne sert à rien. enfin je crois.
Et le cursor .... ben moi j'ne veux pas, j'utilise ma tablette qu'en Pen (mode absolute)

Essayes en installant via synaptic linux-headers-2.6.12-10-386 !
Sinon faudra compiler les sources de ton noyau 2.6.12.10-386 sans les installer ....

Comment t'as fait?? Elle me rend malade cte tablette...

J'ai tenté de m'y recoller le weekend dernier sans succès (recompilation de tout à partir du tuto donné sur le site...)

rien n'y fait. Au mieux quand je branche je n'ai plus aucun contrôle, ce qui montre qu'au moins ma tablette n'est plus reconnue comme une souris...

tu pourrais rapidement me donner les étapes?
Est ce que tu passes par /dev/input/wacom ou eventx
Par mice ou mouseX?

Tu pourrais nous copier coller ton xorg.conf?

Il faut bien lire tout ce qu'on a ecrit dans ce sujet.
Faudra faire un tuto à partir de tout çà mais moi j'ai pas le temps de m'y coller pour le moment.

Je ne sais pas comment definir l'ordre des modules; alors j'ai écrit un petit script goWacom.sh :
sudo gedit goWacom.sh
#! /bin/sh
sudo rmmod usbhid
sudo rmmod wacom
sudo modprobe wacom
sudo modprobe usbhid
Ensuite chmod a+x goWacom.sh
cp goWacom.sh /etc/init.d/goWacom.sh
cd /etc/rc2.d/
ln -s ../init.d/goWacom.sh SXXgoWacom où XX sont des chifres inferieurs à ceux qui figurent avant gdm. (pour que le script soit executé avant le gdm).

Et y'a qq étapes à refaire à chaque changement de kernel .... évidemment ....
Chez moi çà marche mais quand je plug une clé usb çà plante tout ... snif

J'ai téléchargé via Synaptic linux-headers-2.6.12-10-386.
Redemmarrage de l'ordi

Puis j'ai suivis le tuto de Niber ci dessus, en prenant en compte la correction de patfrat.
ensuite j'ai mis ceci dans xorg.conf:

sinon, je n'ai mis dans mon /etc/X11/xorg.conf que le stylus > Pen
La volito2 ne possède pas d'Eraser donc çà ne sert à rien. enfin je crois.
Et le cursor .... ben moi j'ne veux pas, j'utilise ma tablette qu'en Pen (mode absolute)

Ensuite pour le usbhid je ne sais pas trop ce que c'est je ne m'en suis pas occupé j'ai redemmaré et ça a fonctionné. A noter: Ma souris et mon clavier ne sont pas branchés sur usb.

Merci désirien pour toutes ces infos.

Bon bah... C'est pas terrible:
J'ai bien tout ça, quand je fais wacdump il me reconnait bien ma volito, mais n'a pas la sensibilité de la pression. Et dans Gimp il ne trouve que mon touchpad en device étendus.

Je pense que ça peut venir d'usbhid parceque quand je le modprobe (après l'avoir déchargé histoire de monter wacom d'abord) j'ai une erreur et il ne charge pas (invalid format ou je ne sais quoi). Bien entendu j'ai bien fait le c*n en le recompilant à partir des sources de volito.

Quelqun aurait il une solution facile pour réinstaller ce module? J'imagine que désinstaller complètement le noyau, redémarrer et réinstaller fonctionnerait mais ça me semble un peu brutal (je suis en 686 smp).

En résumé, tant qu'ubuntu est en noyau 2.6.12, on l'a dans l'os sévère, surtout quand on sait que le 2.6.13 contient par défaut les modules wacom qui vont bien.

Donc, de 2 choses l'une :
ou on trouve un moyen d'upgrader breezy en 2.6.13 (sauf que debian en est déjà au 2.6.15... va falloir se sortir les doigts!)
ou on installe les outils graphiques comme gimp, inkscape et scribus sous win et on peut utiliser tranquillement la volito 2...

C'est triste, mais bon...:mad:

1 solution super simple pour arrêter de perdre du temps :
Installer gimp, inkscape et scribus sous Windows
Y installer aussi la volito 2 qui marche toute seule
Travailler!

Attendre Dapper qui aura le bon noyau avec les drivers wacom qui vont bien!
RDV le 20 avril!
