bonjour je suis sur une installe fraiche de xubuntu , j'aimerais la derniere version de pidgin , seulement pendant la compilation

You must have the GTK+ 2.0 development headers installed to compile Pidgin.
If you want to build only Finch then specify --disable-gtkui when running configure.

seulement , je l'ai déja mit ce paquet là , j'aimerai savoir quoi faire ...

De même j'aimerais installer le logiciel ristretto mais pendant la compilation j'ai :

The required package libexif was not found on your system.
*** Please install libexif (atleast version 0.6.0) or adjust
*** the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
*** installed the package in a nonstandard prefix so that

pareil j'ai aussi le paquet

S@lut !

Pour Pidgin, d'après ce tuto, il te faudra avoir installé "libgtk2.0-dev" et "libxml2-dev" avant de compiler.

Pour ristretto, il faut installer "libexif-dev".

salut , oui justement c'est là qu'est le souci c'est que tous ces paquets sont installé ? y'a t'il pas un truc avec liens symbolique toussa ?

Je viens de faire les phases "configure" et "make" de l'installation de pidgin (je n'irais pas jusqu'à l'installation).
J'ai bien reçu les alarmes concernant GTK+ et libxml2, mais après l'installation des deux paquets, tout se passe bien : donc, à priori, pas de lien symbolique ou autre à gérer.
Je suppose que tu as bien installé "libgtk2.dev" par le gestionnaire de paquets et pas par les sources.
Tu peux toujours essayer de les réinstaller pour voir.

re , non j'ai tenté une reinstalle du paquet , sa me met le meme message d'erreur , j'utilise cette méthode pour compiler

Je viens d'essayer la méthode du lien que tu donne et ça fonctionne bien chez moi.
Que renvoient les commandes "ls -la /usr/lib/pkgconfig/" et "locate pkgconfig | grep gdk" ?

Les seuls liens que j'ai trouvé pouvant répondre à ton problème sont :

-http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/d … 10778.html . Il semble y avoir un os avec x11.

-http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-517002.html. La solution "facile" : la réinstallation.

J'ai bien peur d'avoir usé mes dernières cartouches sur ce coup.
