répertoire usr/webcam n'existe pas [resolu]
Bonjour,
Apres quelques galères j'ai pu identifier un driver pour ma webcam : sn9c201 qui correspond apparemment aux résultats d'un lsusb.
Bus 004 Device 007: ID 0c45:6270 Microdia
notez: impossible de trouver cette référence (6270) a partir des listes de vérification de drivers qu'il y a sur le forum et le lien suivant me semble très pratique, même si je n'y comprends pas grand chose.

J'ai donc récupéré un driver - generic SN9C2XX ici.

je l'ai traité avec tar xvzf et déplacé dans usr/local
Camorama me retourne le message "could not connect...dev/video0"

(le fichier du driver pour XP s'appelle 201, ce qui correspond a priori a SN9C201).
Bref je suis alle voir si /dev/video0 existait bien, et apparemment non. Et je crois avoir lu dans d'autres post (tellement que je ne sais plus lequel!) qu'il fallait parfois créer ce répertoire.
C'est correct? et si oui, comment je peux faire? merci d'avance.

Contacter le créateur du pilote linux me parait effectivement une bonne idée 
PS : Merci de mettre les longues citations entre balises code, ça prend beaucoup moins de place

Bref, oui je le contacte mais je sais qu'il y a un problème de répertoire absent (videodev ou video0) Une piste?

Le fichier n'est crée que lorsque le périphérique est détecté et dispose d'un pilote

Bon, je ne l'ai pas contacte, simplement fait un tour sur son site, il peut faire quelque chose: 50€ pour un driver de webcam a 30€. Sujet clos.

J'ai retrouve un des post qui parle de repertoire manquant:
Webcamsn extension is not loaded. You have to compile it. (On Linux)
You need to make sure there is a webcamsn.so in /msn/utils/webcamsn/
and also in /msn/utils/webcamsn/webcamsn/If these do not exist, you need to enter each of those directories and type make to compile the source into a webcamsn.so file.
