[Résolu] Grub rescue après une maj

Saperlottte, me voilà avec un truc étrange.
Rédémarrage après une maj hier et :

error : symbol 'grub_term_highlight_color' not found
grub rescue>

Si je fais "echap" au boot puis [f9] j'ai le choix de boot

OS boot manager
Ubuntu (Hitachi xxxyyxx)
Démarage EFI

Le premier choix (que je trouvé étrange de voir là : j'ai uniquement Xubuntu sur ma bécane) me remet en grub rescue
Le second me permet de démarrer normalement.

J'ai tenté un boot repair, ca n'a rien changé.

On y voit que l'entrée pour ubuntu (Boot0000, l'entrée sur laquelle ta session a démarré) n'est pas dans la liste de priorité au démarrage. Je te suggère de démarrer sur ton Xubuntu et de passer la commande qui va réparer le démarrage et remettre ubuntu en priorité de boot :

sudo grub-install

il n'y a rien à ajouter en fin de ligne de commande : Grub sait qu'il doit aller écrire dans la partition EFI

EDIT : au sujet de ta ligne "OS boot manager", moi je ne sais pas à laquelle des entrées elle correspond. Idem pour l'entrée "Démarrage EFI" (c'est peut-être à Boot3000 ou Boot3003 mais c'est pas sûr du tout)

On a bien une commande "sudo grub-install" qui fait le boulot, y compris la modif de la priorité de démarrage dans l'UEFI pour mettre en priorité l'OS démarré (là, c'est Kubuntu qui est démarré donc on retrouve bien  l'entrée "kubuntu" en prorité au démarrage.

@nam1962 : effectivement, le résultat de la commande "sudo grub-install" dans Xubuntu 14.04 donne le même résultat que celui que tu as collé dans ton post #7. Sauf que chez moi, cette commande agit comme il se doit sur la priorité de démarrage de l'UEFI alors que chez toi, elle semble ne rien modifier dans la priorité de démarrrage.

Ce que tu trouves en résultat de la commande "dpkg -l | grep grub" est correct à ma connaissance : primo le paquet grub-efi n'est pas indispensable, secundo le paquet grub-efi-amd64-signed (et ses dépendances) n'est pas indispensable non plus (tu n'as pas la version "signée" installée mais tu t'en fous puisque tu as désactivé "Secure Boot" dans ton UEFI). J'ai d'ailleurs fait la procédure du B) du post #8 en ayant viré au préalable les paquets signés de Grub et j'ai pu vérifier que j'arrivais toujours à modifier l'ordre de démarrage dans l'UEFI donc ce n'est pas ça qui joue. Je veux dire que tu butes sur autre chose.

Effectivement, quand je passe dans le bios, j'ai un mystérieux HDD on USB, rien de tel n'est branché, mais j'ai un back in time non fonctionnel et quelque part une mention du hdd de backup - cela dit, tout fonctionnait jusqu'à il y a trois jours.
Je vais purger back in time pour voir.

Ce qui est curieux c'est que quand je passe par [echap] [F9] je boote bien sur le HDD

Je ne comprend pas l'entrée 2001 (USB drive UEFI) sinon, ni pourquoi j'ai un windows boot manager (invisible dans gparted)

Sinon, quand je vais dans media sur mon compte, je vois un Iomega qui n'est pas du tout branché (mais ca fonctionne comme ça depuis des mois)

"Windows Boot Manager" c'est seulement une désignation par UEFI de l'entrée qui démarre Windows. Cette entrée pointe vers le fichier bootmgfw.efi qu'on peut voir dans cet extrait de ton Boot-Info :

Ca a donné un reboot correct puis un second à nouveau grub rescue.

Il y a une maj du bios, mais je n'ai pas trouvé comment la faire sans W$ (j'avais bêtement tout scratché à la réception de la bécane, sans faire la maj AVANT) : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1255051

Par contre le problème date de trois jours, cela fait 10 mois, dont 2 en trusty que tout tournait rond et bootait correctement.

tu "bascules" la partition root LiveCD sur celle de ton install :
sudo  chroot  /mnt

Tu peux tenter un :
grub-install
puis je tenterai aussi la suppression d'entrée  2003 qui est présente dans l'ordre de boot, mais inexistante dans la liste :
efibootmgr  -B  2003
puis
efibootmgr  -o  0000,3003,3000,2001,2002

puis ton sudo  efibootmgr  -n  0000
Puis un update grub

tu tapes la commande suivante depuis ta session Xubuntu :

man efibootmgr 

tu pourras voir ce que fait l'option -n :

-n | --bootnext XXXX
    Set BootNext to XXXX (hex)

Elle demande que le démarrage suivant soit fait exceptionnellement sur une entrée donnée de UEFI mais elle ne modifie pas pour autant la priorité au démarrage.

Pour info : dans le cas d'un dual-boot, c'est sur ce paramètre BootNext qu'agit Windows 8 quand on suit cette procédure : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p15030301
