[Résolu]Chrome, chromium et des erreurs

Bonjour

A cause d'un problème de flashplugin, sur un vieil ordi de processeur AMD, j'ai essayé d'installer google chrome. Pas réussi. Finalement j'ai mis chromium qui me paraît très bien sauf que,
quand je fais   sudo apt-get update ,  j'ai une erreur qui vient de chrome

Err http://dl.google.com non-free/main i386 Packages    404  Not Found [IP : 173.194.34.46 80]

et j'ai deux avertissements :

W: Erreur de GPG : https://dl.google.com stable Release : Erreur inconnue à l'exécution de gpgv

W: Impossible de récupérer http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/stable/d … 6/Packages  404  Not Found [IP : 173.194.34.46 80]

Sauriez-vous me dire comment résoudre cela ?

je pense qu'il te faut supprimer le dépôt : dl.google.com : je pense qu'il n'est plus d’actualité.

J'ai donc essayé de supprimer  dl.google.com

et j'ai refait   sudo apt-get update .

je n'ai plus d'erreur mais j'ai TROIS avertissements :

mais cela ne change rien !

On utilise pas Google Chrome mais Chromium sur Linux ! En effet google chrome est un logiciel propriétaire tout comme internet explorer.

Pour générer Google Chrome, Google prend le code source de Chromium et y ajoute les fonctionnalités malveillantes suivantes :

    Intégration par défaut de Flash Player9 (propriétaire donc pas intégré par défaut sous linux)
    Intégration d'un lecteur de PDF interne au navigateur. (pas besoin sous linux puisqu'on peux lire les pdf avec un lecteur externe.)
    Ajout d'un système d'impression et de prévisualisation de l'impression.
    Changement du logo et ajout de la mention de Google.
    Ajout d'un système automatique de mise à jour appelé GoogleUpdate. (pas nécessaire sous linux puisqu'on utilise le gestionnaire de paquet pour les maj)
    Ajout d'une option pour que les utilisateurs puissent envoyer leurs statistiques d'utilisations et rapports d'erreurs à Google.
    Ajout, dans certains cas, de fonctionnalités de pistage appelées RLZ tracking.(malveillant !!!)
    Ajout du support des codecs propriétaires AAC et MP3 (Chromium supporte par défaut uniquement les codecs libres Vorbis, Theora et WebM). (format propriétaire donc pas intégré par défaut !!)

Une dernière différence est que le code source de Chromium est librement accessible et modifiable contrairement à celui de Google Chrome.

Merci de ces très intéressantes explications. Moi j'avais trouvé un doc-ubuntu sur  chrome
donc je ne savais pas qu'il fallait éviter chrome.

bon, mais ça ne résout pas mon problème.
J'ai fait "des choses" mais je ne sais pas trop quoi
en tout cas, il ne me reste plus qu'un avertissement :

W: Duplicate sources.list entry https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable/main i386 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/dl.google.com_linux_chrome_deb_dists_stable_main_binary-i386_Packages)

et je ne vois pas comment faire.
Mais si ce n'est qu'un avertissement, ce n'est peut-être pas grave de laisser comme cela ?
Qu'en pensez-vous, xubuntistes avertis ?

Google Chrome fonctionne très bien. Surtout pour les jeux de Facebook.

Google Chrome fonctionne très bien. Surtout pour les jeux de Facebook.

NON ! on utilise PAS google chrome sur Linux mais Chromium !!! ce n'est pas une histoire de marcher ou pas marcher, c'est un navigateur propriétaire qui n'a que des inconvénient par rapport a chromium sous Linux.

On dirait que tu n'as pas posté le retour complet de la commande mais uniquement la fin.

Tu entres la commande, tu la valides puis tu fais un copier de tout ce qu'il y a dans le terminal et tu le colles ici.

Lis cette doc.

Dans Sources de logiciels onglet Autres logiciels, décoche la (ou les) ligne en rapport avec Google Chrome. Puis même chose dans l'onglet Authentification.

Ensuite, referme tout et donne le retour complet de la commande:

sudo apt-get update

OS: Ubuntu 22.04 64 bits + Windows 11 64 bits en dualboot (BIOS UEFI, Secure Boot activé et table de partitions GPT)

Il reste seulement la question d'une barre de menus dans chromium mais je vais ouvrir un nouveau fil de discussion rien que pour cela. Au cas où quelqu'un aurait une bonne idée ! En fait c'est seulement le moyen d'envoyer un lien vers une page, qui me manque. Pour tout le reste, chromium est bien !

Là, je ne sais pas, je n'utilise pas Chromium.
