[RESOLU] DualBoot WinXP : Grub non réparé et HDD invisibles/pas montés
Bonjour à toutes et à tous,
Heureux utilisateur d'Ubuntu 12.04 LTS sur mon Emachines E510 (Chipset Intel, 2go de RAM et Processeur Celron Dual M560), j'ai souhaité installer Windows XP (qui n'est désormais plus supporté) et ai suivi une procédure très complète postée sur ce forum. La méthode consiste à utiliser une clé amorçable avec Grub intégré grâce à Boot Repair (MAIS pas par LiveUSB NI Boot Repair Disk). Plus d'infos dans ce fil de discussion.
Malheureusement pour moi, l'étape de la remise en état du GRUB dans le MBR du DD coince. J'ai beau lancer une "Réparation Recommandée" sur Boot Repair ou forcer le grub dans mon disque apparaissant sous /sda, rien n'y fait.
Conséquence de mon installation de WindowsXP sur une partition NTFS de mon DD, mes disques sont désormais invisibles sous Ubuntu et l"Utilitaire de Disques refuse de se lancer. Je ne peux donc même pas les monter. J'aimerai remédier à ce problème!
Je me permets donc de vous soumettre mon bootinfo , car après plusieurs heures à essayer de me sortir de ce problème, je cale. Techniquement, je ne suis pas assez pointu.

Tu serais bien inspiré de sauvegarder sur disque dur externe les données que tu as sur ce disque dur et quand ce sera fait, de tenter de réparer cette table de partition avec l'aide d'un expert du forum (moi, je ne sais pas faire) ou sinon de tout réinstaller à neuf sur ce disque dur (avec Gparted depuis un support live de Ubuntu : suppression de toutes les partitions, création d'une nouvelle table de partition)

OK mega mauvaise nouvelle donc...
Le boot sans clé d'amorçage ne se faisant pas du tout sur le DD j'en conclu que c'est plus aisé de recommencer tout l'installation et un foatage complet du DD.
Néanmoins, quand Je boote sur XP grace a la clé d'amorçage, les partitions NTFS sont alors visibles . ça veut dire une sauvegarde de mes données via XP puis formatage complet ?

Oui, c'est ça : depuis XP, tu sauvegardes sur disque dur externe tout ce qui est précieux pour toi comme données.

Suite à tes conseils, une réinstall clean de Windows puis de Ubuntu a complètement réglé le problème.
Ce fut long et fastidieux mais le résultat est pleinement satisfaisant.
