Plantage durant migration et Adept bloqué

Bonjour à tous, j'étais en train de migrer vers Kubuntu 8.04 64 bits lorsque l'installation a planté à 89% au moment ou il m'était proposé de choisir ma configuration réseau samba.

Maintenant voilà le panneau qui apparait lorsque je lance Adept :

ensuite je suis passé en mode console et ai suivi les instructions de la doc à savoir :

à ce stade, je ne sais plus quoi faire, quelqu'un pourrait m'aider ? je n'ai pas envie de tout formater

J'ai tenté de reboot et plus possible de lancer ma session, je reste bloqué au log in et il me dit qu'une erreur s'est produite. Je suis bon pour le formattage ?
