extrait intéressant du config.log :

Et là packages.ubuntu.com est ton ami:

Je dirais qu'il te manque libc6-dev.

Qui dépend de build-essential, qu'il est conseillé d'installer quand on compile (cf la doc : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/compilation#prealables )

Ça devrait t'avancer. Tu risques aussi d'avoir besoin des bibliothèques de dev de gstreamer.

Sinon, pourquoi ne pas utiliser directement le plugin http://packages.ubuntu.com/gutsy/gstreamer0.10-pitfdll

Le paquet build-essential est bien installé ?

PS : Ce n'est pas un .tar.gz que tu tentes d'installer (c'est comme si tu disais "j'arrive pas à installer un .zip") mais un code source que tu tentes de compiler smile
