[Résolu] - Démarrage ubuntu 8.04 très long

Bonjour,

J'ai installé ubuntu 8.04 et j'ai un gros soucis lors du démarrage, il me faut environ 2min avant d'arriver sur la page de login.

J'ai désactivé l'option splash dans menu.lst et voici ce qui se passe :

Que se passe-t-il ?

Bonjour,

Il semblerait qu'un de vos disques durs soit à la peine ...ça m'est déjà arrivé et le DD a lâché peu après, sauvegardez les données de ce disque et essayez de le réparer avec les outils adéquats.

Merci pour votre réponse, quel logiciel pourais-je utiliser pour réparer mon DD ?

Pour info j'ai 4 partitions :
-Une pour Linux
-Une pour Vista
-Une pour toutes mes donnés
-Une pour la swap de Linux

Voici ce que j'obtient lorsque je fais un fdisk:

Bonjour,

Bizarre car le disque incriminé est pointé comme sdb or sur votre post vous avez tout sur sda, pourriez vous poster les lignes de /boot/grub/menu.lst correspondant au noyau utilisé ainsi que le résultat de la commande

Je ne vois rien qui cloche dans votre config, essayez de fouiller dans /var/log/messages pour avoir plus d'infos,

à tout hazard: y a t-il une clé ou un disuqe USB connecté au moment du démarrage ?

J'ai disque externe en 1394, mais celui-ci n'est pas allumé, je l'ai tout de même débranché mais le problème persiste.

J'ai une autre piste, lorsque je souhaite installer linux, lorsque je choisi le mode manuel, il me détecte 2 disques :
-SCSI7 (0,0,0) (sda) - 200GB ATA ST3200826AS
-SCSI8 (0,0,0) (sdb) - 327.7KB ATA config disk

Je pense que votre piste est la bonne, on y retrouve le disque sdb avec seulement 327.7KB , essayez d'effacer cette partition. à suivre ...

Impossible de supprimer cette partition, elle ne fait pas partie de mon DD mais de ma carte mère, la ASUS P5WDH deluxe, voici quelqu'un qui a le même problème :

Solution trouvé, je suis super content, ubuntu boot normalement à présent.
