Configuration de Xwindow

Bonjour,
j'ai à démarrer le client X en local mais j'ai eu ce message d'erreur en tapant xhost :

unable to open display ":sofie-laptop:0"

j'ai fait cette commande

export DISPLAY=:sofie-laptop:0

et quand j'exécute  startx j'obtient ce message

root@sofie-laptop:/etc/X11/Xresources# startx
xauth:  creating new authority file /root/.serverauth.16698

Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
        If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
        and start again.

auriez vous une solution ??

$export DISPLAY="localhost:0"

bon maintenant j'ai un autre problème
le gnome ne fonctionne plus
et quand j'ai essayé de lancer synaptic j'ai obtenu ce message:

root@sofie-laptop:/# synaptic
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified


(synaptic:7201): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

et j'ai changé la variable DISPLAY comme suit, mais ça marche pas :

$ export DISPLAY=:0.0

il faut que tu tapes xhost + depuis un terminal avec l'utilisateur qui à ouvert la session

j'ai fait xhost + mais j'ai encore de problème, quand je veux arreter mon pc il n'y a pas le bouton arrêter, il y'a que Hiberner et mettre en veille et au démarrage l'interface de saisie du login et du mot de passe à changer il n'y a plus l'interface de ubuntu il y'a l'interface de Debian
j'ai déja désintaller le xdm, je veux désinstaller ce Xwindow il m'a fait beaucoup de problème que faire ?
