Aide pour un débutant à l'installation de Ubuntu en dualboot avec Win8

Bijour!,

jusque là j'ai :
-défragmenté mon HDD bien que l'option 'optimisation' soit activé.
-réduit le boot de 30Go
-gravé l'iso de la dernière version de ubuntu sur un DVD
-paramétré l'UEFI d'en sorte que au lieu de démarrer automatiquement sur win8 (pas win8.1) , il laisse le choix de L'OS et des paramètres.

Donc si j'ai bien compris il ne reste plus qu'à couper le mode hybride, éteindre le pc, mettre le DVD dans le lecteur, et démarrer. C'est ça?

Oui c'est expliqué dans la doc UEFI : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/uefi
Il suffit de désactiver le démarrage rapide de Windows 8 comme expliqué là : http://www.zebulon.fr/astuces/273-desac … ows-8.html
Ne fais pas l'installation directe de Ubuntu sur ton disque dur : fais d'abord un essai (session live) en sélectionnant la première ligne du menu "Try Ubuntu without installing" comme on peut voir là : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/lib/exe/fetch. … 270133.png
C'est seulement si ça marche bien en session live que tu pourras envisager d'installer.

Le tuto mentionne la création d'une partition de partage mais compte tenu que tu n'as libéré que 30 Go, tu pourras juste créer une partition racine et une partition swap.

EDIT : peux-tu préciser le nom complet du modèle de ton ordi et son fabricant ?

Non, tu peux même ne pas mettre de swap.

Je n'ai pas installé ubuntu:trop peur de louper quelque chose.

Voici comment j'ai procédé:

Dans l'UEFI il me demande de choisir entre ubuntu et windows(même si ubuntu n'est pas installé).Est-ce normale?(je crois que j'ai du cliquer une fois sur l'exe ou assimilé qui se trouvait dans l'iso sur le cd)

J'ai pris ubuntu:là il me marqua invalid machin etc. et il m'a dirigé sur le BIOS et j'ai mis USB CDROM en tête de liste puis j'ai redémarré

ensuite il y a un menu image qui s'est ouvert et j'ai fait ENTER sur try without installing et ça a fonctionné

maintenant j'ai 2 questions: Peut on remettre les paramètres de démarrages rapides initiaux sans passer par le multi boot et faire comme si il n'y avait qu'un OS (juste windows ou juste ubuntu)
Et puis peut on changer ces paramètres afin de faire d'en sorte qu'il y ai 2 OS et qu'il me laisse le choix entre les 2?

Pour que je puisse vérifier si c'est normal ou pas, je te prie de démarrer une session live (tu fais ENTER sur "try without installing") et de faire un Boot-Info en suivant cette procédure simplifiée : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p16690381
Contente-toi de cliquer sur "Create a BootInfo summary" (ne clique pas sur "Recommanded repair") : le but c'est de faire un état des lieux, ce n'est pas de réparer.
Tu donneras l'URL du Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

Rebonjour,

Je l'ai installé mais il reste toujours trois problèmes:
-il n'a pas trouvé ma nvidia geforce GT540M
-je suis obligé d'accéder aux paramètres de l'UEFI afin de lancer Ubuntu comme un périphérique bien que j'ai enlevé le paramètre démarrage rapide et veille prolongé.
-je ne peux pas changer la luminosité de l'écran

Modifier les paramètres du pc>général>démarrage avancé>l'ordi redémarre>utiliser un périphérique>ensuite je clique sur l'icone de ubuntu représenté par un CD

Par contre si la dernière session utilisé était ubuntu le bios s'affiche et me laisse le choix entre f2 et f12(multi boot)puis si je ne fais rien il m'affiche le GRUB.

J'essaie d'installer Ubuntu 14.04 depuis une clé USB et ça plante. J'ai découvert que les cartes Nvidia Mobile posaient problème -> Nvidia Optimus

Tu as fait ton install via un Live CD alors que tu as un CG GT540M?
