[Résolu] Dapper -> Edgy : écran noir après le boot
Bonjour à tous,
J'ai fait la mise à jour de Dapper vers Edgy et en rebootant gros problème : après avoir validé mon choix avec grub, j'ai un écran noir et rien ne se passe. Quand je me logue en "recovery mode" et que je tape "startx", j'ai un message d'erreur avec les lignes suivantes :
(EE) module ABI major version (0) doesn't match the server's version (1)
(EE) Failed to load module "ati" (module requirement mismatch, 0)
(EE) No drivers available.
Fatal server error : no screens found
J'ai donc tendance à penser que j'ai un problème de pilote graphique (ma carte est une ATI Radeon 9250). Je ferais bien une mise à jour du pilote via un "apt-get install ..." mais ma connexion internet ne marche pas non plus...
Quelqu'un a t-il une idée de ce que je peux faire ?

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xorg-xserver
Là tu choisis le pilote ati, (ou vesa si ça marche toujours pas), et ça devrait être mieux...

Là tu choisis le pilote ati, (ou vesa si ça marche toujours pas), et ça devrait être mieux...
Ben non, c'est pas mieux...
J'obtiens toujours les mêmes messages en lançant le serveur X avec "ati" ou "vesa" suivant le pilote choisi...

S'il vous plait.... je ne sais pas quoi faire...
J'ai essayé plusieurs pilotes graphiques mais à chaque fois que je fais un "startx" il me met qu'il n'a pas réussi à charger le module. Je me sens bien démunie devant ce problème.

Toi t'as utilisé la commande aticonfig --initial
Comme tu as une ATI je te passe le mien ça devrait résoudre les problèmes. Il utilise le pilote libre, et propose comme toi la résolution d'écran 1280x800.

Merci de m'avoir donné vos fichiers xorg.conf. J'ai essayé de les utiliser mais ça ne marche toujours pas :
- avec le pilote radeon, j'ai le message "Failed to load module "radeon""
- avec le pilote fglrx, l'écran se met en veille... Quand je reprends la main en faisant Ctrl+Alt+F1, je vois pas mal de messages d'erreur avec la ligne "xf86OpenSerial : Cannot open device /dev/wacom".
J'ai bien peur de devoir faire une install complète...

ce qui génère automatiquement une nouvelle version du driver radeon.
Ensuite, le miracle s'est produit puisque le serveur graphique s'est lancé correctement.
