Post#1 ,on peut lire;
J'ai lancé un boot repair après avoir démarré sur mon disque d’installation et choisi l'option réparation recommandée.
La réparation s'est terminée avec un message "Wubi defecteux".
Wubi ....
Le programme qui sert à installer Ubuntu dans Windows.
On lance le CD depuis une session Windows, et on à la possibilité d'installer Ubuntu dans Windows, comme un programme Windows. Mais pour ce faire, on installe Wubi dans Windows, et on continue l'installation de Ubuntu comme un programme Windows. On doit indique l'espace disque à utiliser dans la partition Windows, ou indiquer une autre partition, ou un autre disque.
Si on ne peut plus installer les Ubuntu UEFI avec Wubi, je pense que les Ubuntu 32 bit eux doivent encore pouvoir s'installer comme çà... Mais c'est une vrai connerie ce truc là, essayer Ubuntu en session live, ou en virtualisation, est bien mieux.
Alors, comme il est dit que Boot-Repair, à été utilisé depuis la session Ubuntu installé.
Que l'on veut connaître le contenu du boot info, on peut avoir facilement le contenu de ce boot info, posté ici, entre les balises code.
Boot-Repair écrit des log, dont une copie du boot info, dans un dossier boot-sav écrit dans le système.
Le dossier boot-sav est écrit dans la partition racine de Windows.
Il est aussi écrit dans les fichiers système de Ubuntu dans /var/log/boot-sav/
En déroulant ce dossier boot-sav comme ceci;
On trouve un fichier "RESULTS.txt" . C'est la copie du boot info ...
Il n'y a qu'à en poster le contenu ici, pour voir ce qu'a fait Boot-Repair ...
Et on va en savoir plus sur ce Wubi...
Moi j'ignore complètement ce que boot-repair est censé faire en cas d'installation via wubi... Ni même ce que wubi est censé faire au juste... Et enfin, comment ça été réellement installé ?
Normalement, Boot-Repair était sensé tenté de réparé Wubi ...Mais le code des scripts pour le faire n'a jamais abouti.
Je le sais, à l'époque je testais les scripts de Boot-Repair, pour YannUbuntu. On a laissé tombé, mais l'option est toujours restée dans l'outil. Je pense que çà ne doit pas être possible de le virer, sans casser autre chose, sinon, Yann l'aurait viré... Et comme çà fait un bout de temps que je n'ai plus de Wubi, je ne peux même plus lancer la réparation de Wubi, pour voir le message final que Boot-Repair renvoie.

n'ayant pas réussi à joindre le fichier, voici les premières lignes du fichier result .TXT
Pour poster la totalité d'un fichier entre les balises code, il faut faire ceci.
Au dessus de la fenêtre d'écriture de tes messages. Il y a deux <> bleu .
Un clic dessus va mettre dans la fenêtre de ton message ceci;
Tu sépares les balises et tu fais ce que j'indique ci-dessous.
[code] tu copies le texte ici par un copier/coller [/code]
Dans le message suivant je continue.
Mais on va avoir besoin de la totalité du fichier RESULTS.txt . Merci.

Tu n'es pas concerné par çà .
Bon ,on va voir le boot info, mais je pense que seul Wubi est installé chez toi .
Ton Ubuntu en, /sdb5 est installé correctement.
Si c'est bien çà on va t'aider à désinstaller Wubi de ton XP, et nettoyer le fichier boot.ini.
Il faudra certainement supprimer cette ligne.

Voici mon boot info ( le dernier en date car j'en ai retrouvé plusieurs sur deux partitions windows différentes.
Depuis que mon ordi a planté, je n'ai plus ni WUBI, ni UBUNTU d'installé car j'ai fait du ménage, mais les partitions existent toujours ( je n'ai d'ailleurs jamais cherché à installé wubi).
Comme déjà dit, je ne cherche pas à installer Ubuntu comme un programme windows (WUBI) mais en dual boot sur un second disque dur. Le hic c'est que depuis le boot repair, je n'arrive plus à booter sur clé usb ou dvd quelques soient les séquences de BIOS essayées.
Les fichiers iso utilisées sont :
ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-i386.iso sur usb et une version un peu plus vielle ubuntu-14.04-desktop-i386.iso pour le dvd

Le hic c'est que depuis le boot repair, je n'arrive plus à booter sur clé usb ou dvd quelques soient les séquences de BIOS essayées.
Les fichiers iso utilisées sont :
ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-i386.iso sur usb et une version un peu plus vielle ubuntu-14.04-desktop-i386.iso pour le dvd

Tu as un vieil ISO installé sur un DVD, Tu ne peux pas booter avec. C'est par le bios qu'on positionne le démarrage du boot.
Que vient faire boot-repair dans cette galère?
Tu as aussi sur une clé USB un ISO plus récent?
Dois-je comprendre que cette clé USB contient le fichier ISO tel qu'il a été téléchargé?
Si oui, je ne suis pas trop surpris que le boot ne mette pas en route.
Si non, as-tu utilisé unetbootin ( https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/unetbootin ) pour transférer cet ISO sur la clé USB? Dans tous les cas regarde la contenu de la clé (Fichiers et répertoires). Certains fichiers auraient-il une taille nulle?

J'avais juste donner le nom des iso utilisés pour le cas où ils ne seraient pas compatibles avec mon ordi.
Pour la clé usb j'ai utilisé liliusb creator et pour le dvd un logiciel de gravage. Je précise que le dvd marchait puisque j'avais réussi à lancer la démo d'ubuntu. J'avais même presque réussi l'installation (qui est allée jusqu'à sa fin) avant que rien ne marche et que je tente les boot repair.
Depuis la réparation de mon Mbr windos, pas de possibilité de booter ni sur la clé usb ni sur le dvd quelques soient les combinaisons bios essayées. Idem en utilisant plop ou sbm en créant une disquette d'amorçage. J'arrive bien à l'affichage de booter sur usb ou sur dvd, mais rien ne passe ensuite. Le dvd tourne sans fin, quand à la clé rien ne s'affiche. Les deux ont pourtant l'air d'être assez similaires. J'ai un fichier texte à o dans le répertoire syslinux.
Quand je me mets sur le dvd sous windows, wubi se lance tout seul. J'avais tenter la proposition de wubi de m'aider à booter sur le disque mais cela n'a pas marché, sauf à créer des pbs de démarrage de windows à la session suivante.
Voilà où j'en suis.

Donc si j'ai bien compris depuis le début.
Tu tentes d'installer Ubuntu sur un deuxième disque.
Tu dis que la machine ne sait pas booter sur l'usb. Donc on ne peut pas démarrer une session live usb.
Donc l'installation de ton Ubuntu à été faite depuis une session live DVD Ubuntu 14.04 .
Tu as des soucis au reboot, et tu utilises Boot-Repair.
Mais comme tu dis que tu avais un grub rescue en bootant sur le hdd où est installé Ubuntu.
Çà veut dire que Grub stage 1 est bien installé dans le secteur de boot du hdd Ubuntu.
Pourquoi çà ne redémarre pas ? ... Message ne trouve pas la partition (no such partition) . ???.
Tu utilises Boot-Repair.
Avant d'utiliser la réparation recommandée, tu avais le MBR Windows du hdd où est installé Windows, en état.
Mais la réparation recommandée à fait ce pour quoi elle est prévu lorsque l'on répond "Non" à la question "est ce que le disque /dev/sda est un disque amovible".
Et vlan!!!.
Boot-Repair réinstalle Grub en mettant la première partie (stage1) dans les secteurs de boot des deux hdd. Il est prévu pour fonctionner comme çà.
Grub première partie écrase le MBR du hdd Windows. Et plus rien ne marche.
En plus comme il voit (tout comme nous dans les rapports boot info) un Wubi en rade. Il ne sait pas non plus le réparer.
À ce stade là plus rien ne marche.
Bougron te sauve la mise en t'expliquant comment refaire le boot de ton Windows (fixmbr et fixboot) Ton Windows redémarre .
Suivent les échanges au sujet de Wubi, et on en arrive là. Tu dis avoir ;
Depuis que mon ordi a planté, je n'ai plus ni WUBI, ni UBUNTU d'installé car j'ai fait du ménage, mais les partitions existent toujours ( je n'ai d'ailleurs jamais cherché à installé wubi).
Pour Wubi, on verra plus tard.
Donc tu as un hdd avec un Windows XP qui marche.
Le hdd où était Ubuntu sans Ubuntu. Si le ménage consiste à formater la partition... Partition formatée, plus de Ubuntu dedans.
Lorsque l'on boot sur le hdd où était Ubuntu, on a encore droit à un grub rescue, car la première partite de grub (grub stage1) est toujours dans le secteur de boot de ce hdd. Formater ou supprimer les partitions ne touche pas à ce qu'il y a dans le secteur de boot du hdd.
Venons en au plus embêtant.
Tu n'arrives plus à faire démarrer une session live DVD Ubuntu 14.04.
DVD qui est bon, puisque Ubuntu à été installé une première foi avec.
Lecteur de CD/DVD qui semble marcher, puisque depuis Windows tu peux voir ce qu'il y a dans le DVD.
Reste à voir avec le paramétrage du Bios pour démarrer la session live DVD...

J'ai découvert Ubuntu avec la 07.10.... Et alors?!... Depuis je regarde de temps en temps si Windows marche toujours....

De mémoire je n'ai pas eu le message "nô such partition" mais plutôt un du genre "uuid not found" ,ce qui si j'ai bien compris doit être la même chose.
Je n'ai pas formaté mon disque mais effacé les répertoires Ubuntu. N' y a t'il rien a faire pour enlever grub stage 1 du secteur de boot? N'y at'il pas une commande grub reçue utilisable?
Sinon côté bios, j'ai essayė tout ce que j'ai pu. 1er disque,2ème disque,.dvd....

Allons bon, voila autre chose.
Comme tu dis ne pas pouvoir démarrer en live. Que l'on sait que Windows ne sais pas lire/écrire dans les partitions Linux.
J'en conclu que tu as du effacer les répertoire depuis ton Ubuntu...
Drôle de manière de faire.
Intervenir dans le secteur de boot du hdd où était ton Ubuntu, pour ne plus avoir l'erreur grub rescue, sans faire çà en passant par une session live. Je ne sais pas comment faire.
Cette erreur partira d'elle même lorsque tu pourras lancer une session live, et réinstaller Ubuntu...
