[résolu]video hd très saccadée sous xubuntu, ok sous Windows XP

Bonjour,

sur une installation fraiche de Xubuntu 14.04 sur un netbook samsung, équipé d'un carte graphique intel 945GSE (intégré au Processeur Atom N270), j'ai un net soucis de performance vidéo.

Xubuntu 14.04 est installé à coté de Windows XP.

Pour une même vidéo HD (1280x720 H264) de qualité standard, avec le même PC :

- vidéo fluide sous windows XP
- vidéo très très saccadée sous xubuntu

Dans les 2 cas avec VLC (et aussi avec Lecteur média parole).

est-il possible d'améliorer les performances graphiques sous xubuntu ?

(je n'ai pas d'autre soucis sur cette configuration)

Salut,

Vlc c'est assez lourd, tu peux aussi essayer smplayer. Il y a aussi le paquet i965-va-driver pour l'accélération Intel mais il faut contrôler si ta carte est prise en charge.

Peux-tu lançer une vidéo qui saccade et pendant la lecture, nous donner le retour de cette commande ? (entre balise code)

je répond à tous :

xubuntu 32 bits (voir signature ;-) ), avec 2Go de RAM.

je n'ai pas tenté en désactivant le compositeur (voir plus bas).

hier soir, j'ai fouillé un peu sur le net et j'ai lancé ceci :

sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-video-intel

ensuite reboot.

-> Vidéo fluide !

du coup, le free -m n'est plus utile. je pense qu'avec 2Go de RAM, uniquement VLC d'ouvert, ça devra tenir.

mais je ne sais si c'est simplement le reboot ou bien la commande de reinstal..(en même temps, je devais "killer" VLC pour le stopper).

du cote des firmware-nonfree , je ne sais pas ce que c'est et je voudrais bien savoir !

En tout cas, coté pilote, aucun pilote propriétaire installé et aucun trouvé (dans logiciels & Mise à jour).

je vais essayer smplayer (le son dans VLC se coupe si je change la position de lecture et met plusieurs secondes à revenir)
