Aide à l'installation (windows 8 UEFI)
Bonjour,
Je vous contacte pour recevoir une aide dans mon périple pour installer ubuntu sur mon pc.
J'ai déjà installé une première fois ubuntu :
- je redémarre avec le dvd d'installation et je choisis le mode test
- note: mon pc est en UEFI et montre l'img indiquée dans votre tutoriel qui indique que soit mon cd démarre en mode classique, soit mon cd n'est pas compatible uefi (j'ai pris la derniere version d'ubuntu) mais je ne sais pas quoi faire pour remédier à cela et j'ai pas compris sur le tuto...
-bref ma souris lag sur ubuntu en mode test mais sur un forum on me dit que c'est surement une question de driver ou quoi et donc que je pourrais résoudre ce probleme une fois ubuntu installé
-j'installe donc ubuntu une premiere fois mais quand je redémarre sans le dvd windows 8 s'ouvre comme de rien n'était.
-je redémarre avec le dvd et ça me redemande si je veu commencer en mode test ou installer ubuntu
->est-ce que ubuntu s'est installé ou pas ?
->est-ce qu'il y a un remède pour que je puisse installer ubuntu ?
Voilà donc je vous serais très reconnaissant pour votre éventuelle aide, merci d'avance.
Pour info; mon pc est un pc portable marque asus, acheté en février dernier, uefi, quand je suis sous la version test d'ubuntu je peux voir les disques durs suivants :
-recovery
-data
-os
-restore
-285GB volume
Edit; aussi j'ai fais un lecteur de récupération mais je comprends rien à a manière de sauvegarder le "mbr" ?

-je redémarre avec le dvd et ça me redemande si je veux commencer en mode test ou installer ubuntu
Choisis mode test (ça s'appelle faire une "session live") et depuis la session live, fais un Boot-Info. Tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

Merci pour votre réponse, j'ai installé boot repair disk sur un dvd, lancé le tout mais je n'ai pas de cable pour brancher internet donc j'ai mon résultat d'analyse mais je ne sais pas comment vous le transférer ??

On voit que tu as fait ce Boot-Info depuis une session démarrée sur un LiveCD Boot-Repair-Disk d'après cet extrait :

On va appeler un chat un chat : Boot-Repair-Disk est merdique. Il ne peut fonctionner correctement en mode EFI que si on l'utilise en LiveUSB. Comme tu as dû faire un LiveCD, ça ne marche pas.
J'ai deux questions :
1) est-ce que c'est avec ce LiveCD Boot-Repair-Disk que tu as fait l'installation de Ubuntu ?
2) quel est le nom complet du modèle de ton ordi et son fabricant ?

Dans le rapport boot info le noyau de Ubuntu est en v 3.16.0-30 .
Je fiche mon billet que BRD est encor en 3.13.0-xx ...Non? ;

repair disk je l'ai gravé et utilisé à partir d'un autre dvd aussi

Parfait. Tu peux utiliser ce DVD qui t'a servi à installer Ubuntu pour réparer ton installation (tu peux mettre à la poubelle ton liveDVD Boot-Repair-Disk puisqu'il est bogué : il ne sait pas fonctionner en mode EFI). Il va falloir que tu arrives à démarrer ton ordi en mode EFI sur ce DVD Ubuntu : les indications sont données là pour t'aider à identifier le mode. Tu sélectionneras "Try Ubuntu without installing" et quand tu seras sur le bureau de Ubuntu, tu feras un Boot-Info. Tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

Le problème c'est qu'il faut absolument que le boot se fasse en mode 'EFI" et non "legacy" pour faire la réparation proposée
Le produit ne me semble pas "merdique" car il dit clairement qu'il ne sait pas faire.

@Bougron : ce n'est pas ça le problème. Le pb c'est que l'ISO de Boot-Repair-Disk est bogué : si on réalise un LiveCD ou un LiveDVD avec cet ISO, on ne peut démarrer qu'en mode non-EFI sur ce support. C'est un bug de Boot-Repair-Disk. On ne peut l'utiliser en mode EFI qu'en faisant une liveUSB à partir de l'ISO. Si ça n'est pas de la merde, tu me dis ce que c'est.

C'est pour cela que je ne parle pas d'un bug. Mais il est vrai que le plus simple serait que l'auteur lui-même dise que son logiciel est obsolète à coté de la ligne qui propose de fabriquer le DVD.
Mais il y a certainement le lobby des fabricants de DVD qui ne va pas apprécier!
