RESOLU..Impossible d'obtenir un verrou exclusif

Bonjour, je suis devant une difficulté que je ne sais pas résoudre. Une icone triangle rouge avec point d'interrogation est apparue en haut à droite. Impossible de faire des mise à jour avec le message:.
Impossible d'obtenir un verrou exclusif
et si je tente de supprimer un paquet dans le terminal/
"E: Impossible d'obtenir le verrou /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Ressource temporairement non disponible)
E: Impossible de verrouiller le répertoire d'administration (/var/lib/dpkg/). Il est possible qu'un autre processus l'utilise"
et impossible d'installer Synaptic à partir de la logithèque...

ouvres un terminal en plein écran
tapes

ps -aux

et postes le résultat entier de la commande

Si je vais dans la logitjèque pour installer un paquet comme synaptic je vois qu'il y a un processus qui tourne sans arrêt..

c'est l'intallation de Dropbox qui coince, le terminal reste sur cette position. Comment supprimer cestte installation ratée ?

Oh, p**aing, encore ce f***u nautilus-dropbox !!!! On trouve cette installation foireuse assez régulièrement, j'ai aidé plusieurs fois à résoudre le problème.

Essaye ce que je dis dans ce message et donne les retours complets.

Surtout ne re-tente pas maintenant l'installation de dropbox.

Ok et merci à tous les deux f.x0 et cqfd93. J'ai suivi les indications du post du04/11/2014 et j'ai pu supprimer le problème posé par ce ***dropbox que j'utilise par ailleurs quand je suis sous windows...Je vais réfléchir avant de l'inviter chez UBUNTU. Merci donc c'est agréable d'avoir une communauté d'aide comme ubuntu-fr comment placer ce post en résolu ?

Je suis content pour toi que cela fonctionne désormais, bonne continuation sur Gnu/Linux

SI TU PENSES QUE TON PROBLÈME EST SOLUTIONNÉ, AJOUTES [RÉSOLU] DANS LE TITRE DE TON PREMIER POST, CELA POURRA AIDER D'AUTRES UBUNTEROS QUI ONT LE MÊME PROBLÈME QUE TOI.

J'ai suivi les indications du post du04/11/2014 et j'ai pu supprimer le problème posé par ce ***dropbox que j'utilise par ailleurs quand je suis sous windows...Je vais réfléchir avant de l'inviter chez UBUNTU. Merci donc c'est agréable d'avoir une communauté d'aide comme ubuntu-fr comment placer ce post en résolu ?

Contente que ça ait résolu ton problème, mais prends quand même l'habitude de donner les retours des commandes qu'on te demande, ça permet un bien meilleur suivi de sa résolution. De plus tu auras certainement besoin d'installer dropbox et je peux t'aider à le faire. En tout cas, ne l'installe pas par la logithèque ni synaptic !!!

Je prends note pour une autre fois...J'aimerai bien installer Dropbox sous Ubuntu, car je migre de plus en plus de windows (XP!) vers UBUNTU que j'apprécie beaucoup. Il y a encore quelques paquets à trouver pour remplacer les logiciels que j’utilisais depuis des décennies...Si tu as le temps peux-tu me conseiller pour savoir si je dois migrer de 12.04 LTS à 14.04 LTS comme on me le propose à chaque mise à jour ? Merci

J'aurais tendance à dire que si ta 12.04 marche bien, garde-la, tu as encore presque 2 ans de tranquillité avec (« quand ça n'est pas cassé, on ne répare pas ! ») Tu peux désactiver la proposition de mise à niveau dans synaptic menu Dépôts / Mises à jour / Me prévenir lorsqu'une nouvelle version... → Jamais.

Voilà quelques commandes pour savoir quelle version d'Ubuntu tu as :

cat /etc/issue
uname -a
echo "${XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP}"

J'ai encore un petit souci. Après une réinstallation de 12.04 ensuivant les consignes du tuto "comment réinstaller Ubuntu?" méthode 2, je me retrouve avec des icones des répertoires sur le bureau. je ne sais pas comment les enlever, mais il faudrait peut-être ouvrir un autre post pour en discuter.
