Maxire, voilà ce que j'obtiens avec les commandes tapées dans le Grub:

Je signale qu'avant de taper ces commandes, dans le BIOS je me suis repositionné sur le fichier "grubX64" au lieu du "shimX64" car en démarrant le PC il a booté directement sur Windows alors que je m'étais positionné sur Mint. En plus alors que j'avais désactivé le "secure boot" et pris soin d'enregistrer les modifications, j'ai constaté que le "secure boot" s'est repositionné sur [ENABLE] sans intervention de ma part.
Bizarre. Peut-être parce que je n'avais pas fait un "sudo update-grub".

Ah que voici un curieux résultat;
hd0 ---> sans doute le lecteur de dvd
hd1 ---> Disque inconnu
hd2 ---> Disque inconnu, erreur de lecture (?)
hd3 ---> /dev/sda du boot-info, le disque windows mais les 2 partitions (hd3,gpt1)=/dev/sda1 (partition ESP) et (hd3,gpt2)=/dev/sda2 (partition Windows recovery) ne sont pas vues
hd4 ---> /dev/sdb du boot-info, le disque Ubuntu mais i(hd4,gpt3)=/dev/sdb3 la swap n'est pas vue
Es-tu certain d'avoir reporté correctement le résultat de la commande ls?
Parce que si l'accès de Grub à la partition ESP est impossible je ne peux pas faire grand chose.
hd1 et hd2, je ne comprends pas trop ce que c'est, sans doute des périphériques au sens uefi (Shell efi ou autre chose), pour l'instant pas utile.
J'aurais presque envie de te conseiller de laisser Grub et de le remplacer par refind qui peut être installé indépendamment de Ubuntu.

Graselsukr, comme tu m'as l'air assez à l'aise en informatique (tu as réussi à trouver comment fonctionne os-prober) je te passe toutes les informations nécessaires à l'installation de refind ainsi qu'à son utilisation: Refind by Roderick W. Smith
À mon avis Refind est bien plus puissant que Grub pour démarrer en mode UEFI.

Maxire, mes excuses. Suite à ton avant dernier message j'ai repris la manip dans le console Grub. La première fois j'ai dû peut-être commettre une erreur. J'ai pris soin de retirer la carte sd et les seuls périphériques présents sur les port USB sont une souris & une clé USB 3G.
Donc je recommence:

Voilà. Sinon j'ai encore fait des recherches sur la question sans rien trouver. De tout ce que j'ai lu il semblerait que ce problème se pose surtout avec Windows 8.
Quant à refind je ne connaîs pas, mais si jamais les problèmes avec le Grub persistent alors pourquoi pas en changer. Moi à l'aise en informatique, je ne sais pas. En tout cas je me sens plus à l'aise sous Linux que sous Windows.

Donc c'est bien une erreur de transcription, ce que tu peux faire toujours en mode commandes Grub:

Normalement la variable root devrait être positionnée à (hd2,gpt1) si tu es dans la même configuration que celle citée en message #29:

Maxire, je viens de tester ta méthode et enfin ça marche. Merci énormément, tu es un génie. Dire que je me suis pris la tête avec cette M... de Grub durant une semaine. Encore merci. Désormais j'ai une entrée Windows au démarrage sur laquelle je peux booter sans passer par des méthodes indirectes.
Suite à ça j'ai tenté un "sudo os-prober" qui me renvoyait toujours le même message, à savoir "No volume groups found" alors que l'accès à Windows est possible. Comme tu le disais il semblerait que ce programme comporte un bug.
Pour voir je l'ai réinstallé via Synaptic puis je l'ai à nouveau exécuté et voici ce que ça donne:
sudo os-prober
No volume groups found
/dev/sda1@/EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi:Windows Boot Manager:Windows:efi
Puis:
sudo update-grub
Création du fichier de configuration GRUB…
Image Linux trouvée : /boot/vmlinuz-3.16.0-38-generic

Je me demande d'où sort ce "No volume groups found" mais bon, les voies d'os_prober sont impénétrables et l'essentiel est que ça marche, en espérant que ton travail puisse aider d'autres confrontés au même problème.

Et je continue de penser que le boot en EFI est un problème trop sérieux pour être confié à un grub quelque soit son fabricant, Il serait temps que certains (tous!) constructeurs de bios améliorent la façon d'afficher la liste des fichiers bootables pour qu'elle soit présentée par défaut.
En attendant, merci maxire pour avoir trouvé une autre "commande" GRUB plus efficace dans cette recherche de windows.

Merci maxire pour Refind, que je ne connais que de nom.
Vu la description que tu en fait, c'est probablement la même fonctionnalité qui est installée dans Supergrub2. Un boot sur support USB qui affiche une liste de tout ce qu'il trouve bootable un peu partout.

@Bougron, j'aurais effectivement maintenant tendance à ne pas utiliser Grub pour démarrer en mode uefi mais plutôt Refind qui a l'avantage, une fois installé dans la partition ESP de permettre d'ajouter et de supprimer des partitions système sans se poser de question quant à l'intégrité du démarrage, pas de risque de perdre un menu comme avec grub puisqu'il n'en existe pas ou plutôt si un menu dynamique.

Après quelques recherches sans succès sur internet qui ont faillit m'expédier dans le mur avec des commandes manuelles d'installation,
je suis revenu au lien que tu as indiqué, encore quelques liens et j'ai trouvé le bon ppa que j'ai téléchargé, un clic sur le fichier et la logithèque a fait le boulot, elle a contrôlé que c'est un chargement correct.
Après je me suis dis: Que dois-je faire avec les deux commandes indiquées mklconf.sh et mvrefind
Pour la première, j'ai vite vu. Pour la seconde , je n'ai pas spécialement compris. Je me suis dis "Quoi faire maintenant??? la réponse est simple "Booter pour découvrir" car ayant fait la commande "sudo update-grub", j'ai vu que ce logiciel n'était pas connu. mais pour la commande suivante que je poste c'est différent

En fait je n'en reviens pas d'avoir réussi à booter, J'ai eu une collection d'icônes au lieu d'avoir ces lignes. et 15 secondes pour choisir.
Et pas le temps de faire une photo. Puis je me suis retrouvé dans la séquence de sélection de windows (il y en a 4) . . J'en ai lancé un. je l'ai stoppé,
Puis j'ai booté, mais ce n'est pas rEFInd qui a booté mais ubuntu. J'ai constaté que rEFInd a été viré par le bios de la liste.
Ce qui me semble totalement normal. Je pense que si le premier a eu lieu c'est que tout était en mémoire.
Pour info, rEFInd s'est installé comme un imbécile en début de disque. Mais mon micro est EFI, Il eu été sage qu'il s'installe dans une partition EFI
Ou plus sérieusement dans un espace libre en créant une partition EFI personnelle, Il ne l'a pas fait. Temps pis pour lui....
Comme je suis revenu dans ubuntu, j'ai pu regarder la structure de la partition qui a été crée pour une taille de 16 Mo..

@Bougron, je ne comprends pas très bien comment tu t'es débrouillé, normalement Refind s'installe bien dans la partition ESP.
Personnellement j'ai toujours installé Refind manuellement en copiant toute son arborescence dans la partition ESP sous EFI/refind puis en créant une entrée de démarrage avec efibootmgr.
Je ne sais même pas ce que font les deux commandes que tu as exécuté.
Supprimes tout ce que tu as fait et inspires-toi plutôt de cette méthode Installation manuelle Refind, elle a l'avantage de t'obliger à comprendre ce qu tu fais plutôt que de lancer passivement des scripts.
Dans un second temps, tu te retrouves effectivement avec des icônes de lancement en surnombre, il me semble qu'il est possible de les enlever et de ne conserver que ceux réellement utiles.
update-grub, non Grub n'a aucune raison de lancer refind et os-prober ne saiy pas le reconnaître.

Je pense que c'est parce que le début de mon disque qui de façon standard avait
une partition SDA1
une partion MSR
La partition FAT32 en SDA2
a été modifié par moi, pour supprimer les deux premières partitions et que je n'ai encore pris le temps de décaler SDA2 vers le début du disque
Lorsque je disais que c'est le boulot du bios de s'occuper de cela.!!!!!!
En plus, il joue au coucou en se faisant passer pour microsoft!

Franchement je ne comprends pas pourquoi tu as utilisé ces 2 commandes, il est pourtant bien spécifié dans le mode d'emploi que après avoir installé le paquet debian il faut ou bien utiliser le script install.sh ou procéder manuellement.
Voilà ce que j'obtiens pour démarrer Archlinux, le manchot n'est pas opérationnel (sans doute une configuration à réaliser, le A de Archlinux l'est sans paramétrage particulier car construit à partir de l'analyse de grub.cfg.
Je vois tout de même que tu as poussé très loin le multiboot, 19 partitions, c'est normal que tu te retrouves avec plein d'icônes.
Edit: Corrections Grosses bêtises, en fait ce que je voulais surtout dire est qu'il vaut mieux installer Refind manuellement.

Si tu le veux bien, je reprendrais à mon retour de vacances dans 8 jours en créant une nouvelle discussion en décrivant pas à pas ce que j'ai fait.
Quant aux commande que j'ai exécutées c'était simplement
mvrefind.sh --help et mklconf.sh --help car sans le .sh j'avais commande non connue!!!
et je me suis fais injurier car je n'étais pas root!!
pour moi, c'est le script exécuté par la logithèque qui a fait la chose...., (jusqu'à preuve du contraire).
Mais avoir 5 icônes qui représentent une partition FAT 32 ou cinq lignes qui disent de booter sur la partition 2 ou 36 ou 53 ou 99 ou 127 c'est quif-quif
(il faut se souvenir de ce qu'il y a dedans!) De plus mon partitionnement n'est pas très classique.*
PS; Je suis désolé d'avoir utilisé la logithèque. Mais si je recommence cela sera de cette façon.

En reprenant depuis le début les recherches internet, j'ai trouvé que la page que j'avais utilisé

Je n'avais pas trop fait attention au mot archive!!!!
J'ai maintenant refais avec succès d'une autre manière.
