[Ré]Dual-boot Windows 10... l'entrée Ubuntu du Grub ne fonctionne plus
J'ai un portable Asus R556L, avec Windows 8 pré-installé dessus.... Sitôt déballé, j'installe Ubuntu 16.04 en dual boot dessus, puis effectue la migration vers W10 (peut être pas dans cet ordre d'ailleurs) => TOUT VA TRES BIEN !
La semaine dernière (et après plusieurs mois d'utilisation (surtout d'Ubuntu)) je démarre sous W10 qui à priori me fait une grosse mise à jour.... Et là c'est le drame... Mon dual boot est "cassé" et le démarrage sous Ubuntu, bien que disponible dans les entrées du grub, n'est plus fonctionnel.... j'ai désactivé/activé le secure boot, laissé les paramètres du bios sur boot uefi, j'ai désactivé le démarrage rapide de windows 10 (qui s'était réactivé tout seul... Pu*$# de Win#*£$§&* )....
La seul façon de démarrer sur Ubuntu c'est de choisir dans le menu du grub, Options avancées pour Ubuntu => Ubuntu with Linux 4.4.0-38-generic (recovery mode) => grub (mettre à jour la chargeur d'amorçage grub) => resume (reprendre le démarrage normal) => et là, je retrouve mon bureau Ubuntu.... sur lequel je suis actuellement pour vous écrire...
J'ai utilisé Boot-Repair (dont voici le rapport http://paste2.org/NLcPbfKz ) sans succès (il m'a même mis un peu le bazar dans les entrées du Grub, mais ça s'arrange ça...)....
Je suis un peu à cours de solutions et ne maîtrise pas vraiment cet aspect de l'informatique... J'ai lu plein d'aides sur des soucis du même genre, mais hélas, sans trouver mon bonheur, ni l'inspiration qui aurait pu me dépanner....
Un peu d'aide serai donc bienvenue !

Salut.
Depuis ta session Ubuntu, est ce que tu as tenté la manip
sudo update-grubet est ce que cela a changé quelque chose au démarrage suivant ?
Edit : je viens de lire que Boot repair a déjà fait cette manip visiblement

Par exemple, vous pouvez démarrer Windows, puis saisir la commande suivante dans une invite de commande en mode administrateur :

@Mudochon : j'avais déjà tenté cette commande, mais dans le doute je l'ai refaite => bilan : aucun changement, ne résous pas mon problème
@Bougron : j'ai passé la commande avec succès sous windows... au redémarrage, après avoir choisi Ubuntu dans le grub, j'ai ce message d'erreur :

Bonjour.
Tu relances windows ; Tu notes que la procédure d'arrêt de windows est la suivante si tu ne déactives pas le fastboot qui a été réactivé par la mise à jour
On arrrête windows avec la commande REDEMARER et absolument pas avec la commande ARRETER
PS: C'est la façon moderne pour ubuntu de te dire qu'il ne peut pas accéder à certaines partitions. Avant il te donnait les noms à l'écran.

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Réparateur de démarrage]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)
Si votre ordinateur redémarre directement sur Windows, essayez de changer l'ordre de démarrage dans votre BIOS.
Si votre BIOS ne permet pas de changer l'ordre de démarrage, changez l'entrée de démarrage par défaut de l'amorceur Windows.
Par exemple, vous pouvez démarrer Windows, puis saisir la commande suivante dans une invite de commande en mode administrateur :

merci malbo, c'est sympa ! je ne pensais pas que les logs étaient virés si rapidement de paste2.org...
Je ne suis pas sûr d'avoir bien compris Bougron... J'ai redémarré sur Win10 et ai vérifié que le fast boot était bien désactivé... Puis, j'ai quitté Win10 en redémarrant (Démarrer>Arrêter>Redémarrer) au lieu de quitter complètement (Démarrer>Arrêter>Eteindre)... Mais aucun changement au redémarrage : affichage du grub, séléction de l'entrée Ubuntu, et message d'erreur ([ 0.129414] Error parsing PCC subspaces from PCCT...) le numéro d'erreur a changé, et disparition de l'erreur relative à l'usb, mais ubuntu reste bloqué à 37.4 %...

Je me suis donc intéressé aux logs accessibles depuis la commande "journalctl -xb" accessible depuis le message d'erreur relaté en #4....
j'ai relevé les lignes apparaissant en rouge (parmi les ~2000 lignes affichables) et succeptibles de contenir des indications supplémentaires (??) sur mon problème :

Tu nous a aiguillé vers une cause de mise à jour windows. Je suis parti, bille en tête. Mais a la réflexion, une mise à jour de ubuntu en est aussi capable. J'avais mal lu la façon dont tu avais remis en route.....
Il n'y a pas de problême dans le FSTAB du moins, je ne n'en ai pas vu.
Je te propose classique: Lorsque tu passes par le recovery, il y a quelques options de boot en plus que par le mode normal.
donc tu vas modifier un fichier
sudo gedit /etc/default/grub et modifier cette ligne
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"pour qu'elle devienne
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nomodeset"Tu sauvegardes puis tu fais la commande
sudo update-grubTu bootes. Mais c'est sans garantie.

Salut,
Moi je comprends de tes messages d'erreur que ton Linux a visiblement un problème avec la partition sda8, à savoir celle qui contient ton home et avec sda5, celle qui contient ton système Linux.
Le démarrage de GRUB n'y est visiblement pour rien.
La commande bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi n'a fait que rendre ton système encore plus bancal, car si d'aventure, ça s'aggrave et que GRUB ne peut plus monter la partition Linux (tout repose sur un simple lien dans le fichier GRUB.cfg dans la partition efi), même ton Windows ne se lancera plus du tout... On ferait bien de te faire revenir en arrière.

@Bougron : J'ai suivi ta manip....et... j'y ai cru ! Mais e splash screen (avec le logo et les petits points de progression) est resté bloqué, sans message d'erreur... j'ai rebooté et là, comme d'hab, le emergency mode avec "journalctl -xb"... et quelques erreurs supplémentaires dont :
Asubuntu kernel: snd_hda_intel 0000:00:03.0 failed to add i915 component master (-19)donc je vais supprimer la modif dans le grub....
@ikewdu : ok, merci pour ton suivi ! mais, heu comment je reviens en arrière ? tu connais la commande inverse ?
Je suis toujours sous mon Ubuntu, via ma manip dans le recovery mode...
PS : je vais peut être sauvegarder mon home avant de le perdre....

le message d'erreur est assez parlant

Mais je ne vois pas pourquoi cela planterait
En mode normal, combien de noyaux as-tu?Si tu en as plusieurs, essayes les plus anciens
Regardes le contenu des fichiers de trace du boot lorsque cela ne marche pas (Normalement c'est daté).
je pense à kern.log kern.log.1 syslog syslog.1
Mais cela sera peut-être d'autres...
As-tu une live USB ou un cdrom qui permet de faire une installation ....Si oui ne t'inquiètes pas.
Lors de ton prochain démarrage sous windows

là j'utilise le 4.4.0-38 mais avant Boot-Repair j'avais aussi le 4.4.0-34 qui a malheureusement disparu depuis (mais qui ne fonctionnait pas mieux)
Je vais me faire une usb bootable et un back-up du home, parce que je vois bien comment ça va finir...
Je repasse sous windows pour effectuer la modif du bcdedit et je reviens sous ubuntu pour m'occuper de tout ça...

C'est plutôt une sauvegarde de tes fichiers personnels car si tu pars sur une installation neuve, on n'a pas identifié si le problème est dans le logiciel stocké dans la partition / ou le paramétrage du logiciel stocké dans la partition /home comme le sont tes données personnelles.

D'ailleurs, que me conseille tu ? :
+laisser mon home sur la partition ubuntu avec des liens symboliques vers une partition en fat32 contenant mes fichiers perso (et accessibles aussi sous windows)
+laisser mon home sur une partition dédiée en ext4 avec mes fichiers perso (et accessible sous windows grâce à ext2fs) => comme aujourd'hui (et c'est peut être ça qui coince)
+laisser mes fichiers perso sur la partition windows et venir les utiliser losrque je suis sous ubuntu
Perso je penche vers la première solution....
Pour l'instant, je sauvegarde, ensuite je boot sur la clée pour faire un fsck des partitions (on sait jamais) et si rien ne change, je tente une réinstallation complète d'Ubuntu... je suis juste dégouté de perdre toutes mes configs et mes applis...
Je sais pas toujours pourquoi ça fonctionne.... mais si ça marche, je suis preneur !

Si tes fichiers personnels sont déjà dans une partition FAT32 C'est parfait
Je déteste les fichiers personnels dans le /home et dans le C: et ext2fsd n'est pas spécialement la solution habituelle car c'est un package qu'il faut ajouter et paramétrer alors que le package NTFS est préinstallé.
Je ne suis pas sur qu'en consultant toutes les traces on puisse trouver la cause et faire une réparation bien spécifique dans les 24 heures.

Réinstallation effectuée, tout fonctionne impecablement !
J'ai créé une partition ntfs qui contient mes fichiers perso (Documents, Téléchargements....) que windows exploite sans aucun soucis ! En ce qui concerne Ubuntu, c'est un peu plus compliqué de lui faire comprendre que Documents pointe vers /media....Documents ou /dev/....Documents
Mais c'est une autre histoire, que je vais surement m'empresser de partager sur le forum (parce que ça commence vraiment à me gonfler !)
Je vais donc essayer de mettre [Résolu] à ce sujet, bien qu'il n'en soit rien !
Merci beaucoup à vous tous de m'avoir quand même bien aidé (et à distance, c'est pas évident), et même si je n'ai peut être pas pris le temps de mener mes investigations jusqu'au bout, grâce aux nombreux conseils du forum, je n'ai perdu aucune de mes données (et mes configurations, du .bashrc au fond d'écran, en passant par la disposition des fenêtre de GIMP, ou les plugins de bluefish... sont aujourd'hui toutes retrouvées !)
Alors merci à tout ceux qui font vivre le forum !

C'était certainement la solution la plus rapide et la plus sure.
Pour ton problème, deux pistes

L'autre a partir du fichier /etc/fstab par exemple
