Skype impossible à installer [résolu]

Bonjour les amis,

Bonne année !

J’essaye d’installer Skype sur mon Ubuntu 16.04 LTS mais ça ne fonctionne pas. (voir en bas pour l’erreur).

Ne me proposez pas :

* D’activer les dépôts propriétaires (je l’ai déjà fait).
* D’utiliser appear.in. Ma correspondante utilise Safari sur Mac, et ne souhaite pas installer d’autre navigateur. Appear.in impossible.

Solutions déjà envisagées :

J’ai déjà fait tout ce qui est écrit dans un précédent post du forum (de 2014) :

sudo apt-get install -f, sudo apt-get install skype-bin:i386, sudo apt-get install skype, sudo apt-get update, sudo apt-get dist-upgrade, sudo apt-get install skype, sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386.

Recherche de solution

Qu’est-ce qui fait que ça ne marche pas ? Est-ce que j’ai touché quelque chose ?

Si je réinstalle le système, suis-je sûr que ça va marcher ?

Est-ce que Skype fonctionne aléatoirement en fonction des systèmes et des humeurs de Skype ?;)

J’ai installé Ubuntu 16.04 LTS en même temps que le mien sur un autre ordinateur, Skype marchait très bien.

que vous avez demandé l'impossible, ou bien, si vous utilisez
la distribution unstable, que certains paquets n'ont pas encore
été créés ou ne sont pas sortis d'Incoming.
L'information suivante devrait vous aider à résoudre la situation : 

Les paquets suivants contiennent des dépendances non satisfaites :
 skype : Dépend: skype-bin
E: Impossible de corriger les problèmes, des paquets défectueux sont en mode « garder en l'état ».

Modération : merci à l'avenir d'utiliser les balises code (explications ici).

donne nous le contenu des sources list :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

et

cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

et le retour de

sudo apt-get update

Tu es en Guyanne ?
Je pense que mélanger sources et PPA n'est pas très propre.

Ton sources.list est assez curieux, pour faire plus propre, passe un

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Dans le fichier qui s'ouvre, remplace tout par :

Ferme en enregistrant.

Pour Xcas, on va tenter :

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://www-fourier.ujf-grenoble.fr/~parisse/debian/ stable main"

Puis

sudo apt autoclean
sudo apt clean

ça fonctionne.

Cependant, en tapant les lignes que tu m'as données, nam1962, à propos de Xcas :

Le terminal passe à la ligne et affiche un ">". Est-ce normal ?

J'ai cherché sur https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/terminal mais n'ai pas trouvé.

Pouvez-vous m'éclairer ou me donner un lien qui explique cela (si c'est normal) ?

Encore une fois mille mercis. On va utiliser appear.in j'en suis sûr avec ma collègue

mais j'ai appris plein de choses.

C'est normal : ca entre juste des données dans des fichiers, donc le retour est non verbeux
Pour vérifier que c'est en ordre, redonne

 ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d -1
sudo apt update

Tu peux regarder appear.in, bien sûr, mais jette aussi un coup d’œil à linphone !

Pour Linphone, je cherchais l'équivalent libre de Skype. Grâce à toi, je l'ai trouvé !

Et ça se trouve, ça fonctionne mieux que Skype sur Linux (coupures incessantes. dues au fait que c'est la version Linux ?)

Pour les coupures, par contre, c'est la qualité du réseau et/ou du wifi de chaque correspondant (mais sinon linphone est plus plaisant, oui ! )
