[Résolu] dual boot installé... mais windows 7 ne démarre pas/plus.
Bonjour,
je viens de faire l'acquisition d'un nouveau PC, j'ai décidé d'y installer en dual boot, windows 7 et Ubuntu 17.10.
J'ai installé windows 7 en lui laissant 200 Go sur les 1 To. Il avait l'air de fonctionner.
Ensuite j'ai installé Ubuntu. Il a reconnu le win7 et j'ai demandé l'installation côte a côte, et il a pris automatiquement (ouf) la place restante.
Grub s'affiche correctement et me propose aussi bien Ubuntu que Win7. Mais seul Ubuntu démarre. Win7 semble se charger mais rien n'apparaît jamais sur l'écran.

Bonjour,
Si tu as une sortie de ta carte graphique qui est reliée à un deuxième écran ou à un téléviseur (même éteint), déconnecte la provisoirement, redémarre l'ordi et vérifie si Windows 7 démarre normalement.
Mon hypothèse : Win7 n'affiche pas sur l'écran que tu es en train de regarder.

Avais tu laissé un espace non partitionné avant d'installer Ubuntu - ou autrement Windows avait-il déjà démarré sur l'espace de 200 Go (pas de réduction de Windows depuis Ubuntu) ?

@Nasman j'avais laissé un espace non partitionné avant d'installer Ubuntu, et Windows avait déjà démarré dedans. Je ne pense pas qu'il y est eu réduction de la taille du windows.
@malbo. Impeccable : j'ai démarré et attendu d'arrivé au grub pour pouvoir choisir windows en démarrage. J'ai débrancher l'écran et appuyé sur entrée (pour lancé windaube). Ensuite j'ai rebranché l'écran qui affichait rien, comme d'hab. Puis j'ai tout éteint et j'ai démarré au grub en choisissant windows... qui s'est mis à fonctionner !
Pourtant je n'ai pas utilisé de deuxième écran lors de l'installation de Windows (il me semble), mais bon. Ça semble fonctionner. La j'installe les drivers (ça faisait longtemps que j'avais pas fait ça), et si tout es ok, je met "résolu".
