wifi non detecter

bonjours,
j ai un petit problème , j ai un asus F5 et je viens d installer ubuntu 8.10 mais ma carte wifi n est pas reconnu coment pourais je fair pour avoir ma wifi

Mais... Tu te connecte au réseau avec quoi  ? Carte PCI (quel modèle) clé usb (quel modèle ?).

non je me connecte filiairement a mon switche mais je suis jeune et je ne comprend pas tout ce qu ils disent peut tu me traduire tous ca ???

Ben... Pourquoi le wifi alors ? Et de toute façon, j'aurai besoin de savoir le modèle de ta carté/clé wifi, sinon ce sera plus dur de la faire fonctionner...

ma carte wifi est une atheros 802.11 wireless lan cards et j aimerais la wifi parce que j habite une grande maison et je n aime pas rester ou est le switch
