[RÉSOLU] Pb suite à installe SSD en 18.04
Bonjour
Je viens d'installer un SSD dans ma tour en conservant l'ancien disque système.
Sur les conseils du forum, j'ai pris la précaution de
• copier, via Gparted, les partitions système depuis le HD d'origine vers le SSD nouveau
• garder les anciens UUID et étiquettes pour le SSD
• changer les UUID et étiquettes de l'ex HD système qui a toujours ses partitions W10 et Ub
Je n'ai sur SSD que les OS : W10, Ub18.04 et swap
mes datas perso sont restées sur le HD dans une partition séparée des anciens OS
Résultats
1e problème
Ubuntu est très réactif, je vois une nette différence.
Par contre Windows n'a guère évolué. Assez long à démarrer et à ouvrir un programme (Power Point ou Gimp par ex)
Y a-t-il qq chose qui pourrait expliquer cette relative lenteur de windows par rapport à Ubuntu ?
2e problème
J'ai un fichier sur le bureau de Ubuntu que je veux mettre sur celui de Windows.
Je fais comme d'hab
• explo de fichiers > autres emplacement > W10 > Users > <mon nom> >Desktop
• et je le pose là.
Lorsque j'ouvre W10 il n'y est pas ??
De plus si je recommence en retournant sur Ubuntu, au moment de copier il me dit fichier déjà existant ???
Alors que je ne le vois pas si j'ouvre W10, même après avoir fait F5 !!??
Si vous avez une explication pour ce 2e problème, je suis preneur

Depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé très réactif, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

J'en profite pour dire que.
Quand je démarre, depuis le menu grub, sur W10
j'entends le disque dur ... comme avant.
Quand j'ouvre une appli, pareil.
Autre point :
J'ai trouvé où est passé le fichier transféré depuis mon bureau Ub vers mon bureau W10. Il n'est pas comme il était logique sur le bureau W10 de SSD mais sur le bureau W10 du HD pourtant avec un autre label : HD-W10 au lieu de W10 ??
Je joins mon explo de fichier qui regroupe tout ça.
Est-ce que ça aide ???

N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le disque sda (ATA KINGSTON SA400S3) !
Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Boot-Repair]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

Pourquoi as-tu conservé la partition HD-W10 ? A quoi ça sert d'avoir deux Windows 10 ? A se tromper comme tu l'as fait en croyant aller sur le bureau de l'un des deux W10 et se retrouver sur l'autre. Sauf si tu as une bonne raison, je te conseille de supprimer cette partition HD-W10.

Merci pour ta réponse rapide malbo.
En fait ce même forum, où j'avais ouvert, un post "installation SSD", avait conseillé de le garder au cas où le SSD serait HS, mais je n'y tien pas plus que ça.
Le seul souci c'est que ma version W10 est une upgrade de XP puis W8 puis W7, je n'ai pas les codes qui vont bien, et si pour la raison évoquée je dois le réinstaller, s'il me pose ces questions je ne saurai pas y répondre sauf si avant je sais comment les récupérer.
A supposer que oui, j'écrase mes partitions système du HD, et je fais un boot-repair je suppose pour mettre tout cela d'aplomb. Tu confirmes ? J'attends tes commentaires pour évoluer dans ce sens.

Je ne confirme rien du tout. Je t'ai conseillé simplement de virer le W10 qui se trouve sur le HDD pour ne garder qu'un seul W10, celui du SSD. Pour ce qui est du réaménagement de tout le HDD, je n'ai pas envie de m'impliquer là-dedans.

Finalement je me suis lancé. J'ai effectivement supprimé la partition W10 du HD.
Le grub a bien fonctionné sans rien faire
Ubuntu a bien démarré
par contre W10 a planté
j'ai lancé le disque de réparation W10
et tout est rentré dans l'ordre
Merci malbo pour ta suggestion, j'y avais pensé, mais ne me serais peut-être pas lancé.
En fait c'est très simple et je retiens l'idée que ce n'est pas la peine de garder les OS sur le HD. C'est même contre productif.
Par contre j'ai supprimé le contenu de la partition W10, mais l'ai conservée à la même taille. Comme ça si un jour ùe SSD plante, il me suffira de restaurer à l'aide de ma sauvegarde Partimage.

Je ne sais pas si tu es au courant mais pour ceux qui ont fait la mise à niveau gratuite de Win7 vers Win10 ou de Win8 vers Win10, il est possible de virer complètement ce Win10 qui en a trop vu et de faire une réinstallation toute neuve et toute propre de Win10 sans avoir besoin de clé de réactivation. C'est quoi ce miracle ? C'est parce que ton ordi (pas ton Windows, mais ton ordi au sens du matériel) est connu par les serveurs de Microsoft et ils savent que tu as déjà eu Win10 dans cette machine. Et si tu fais une install toute neuve de Win10, tu verras que l’activation se fera automatiquement sans que tu aies rien à faire de particulier parce que ton ordi est reconnu. Comme il est dit dans ce doc, il faut ignorer l’étape de la saisie de la clé de produit pendant l'installation d'un Win10 tout neuf et tout propre.
Je te raconte ça parce que tu as un Win10 qui rame (d'après ce que je comprends) et il serait possible de le remplacer par un Win10 tout neuf.

Je vais aussi me renseigner, pour ne pas abuser de ce forum, au sujet de mon MS office acheté. Voir si c'est pareil.
Auquel cas je pourrais faire un gros ménage.

Petit feed-back pour conclure.
Je confirme l'info de malbo. J'ai réinstallé W10 en écrasant l'ancien, rien ne m'a été demandé pour l'activation, tout va bien avec version bien allégée et démarrage beaucoup plus rapide, merci malbo !!
De plus j'ai fait de même avec Office 2016. Idem, rien ne m'a été demandé et je l'ai réinstallé sur ce nouveau windows.
