[RESOLU] Problème de "restricted modules" après MAJ 8.04 vers 8.10

Bonsoir,

Bon, j'ai mis à jour mon ubuntu vers 8.10 ... et aie aie, déja pas de son, mais bon, on va voir ca

MAIS plus de drivers nvidia fonctionnel ! après quelques recherches, il manque le paquet "linux restricted modules"
ce qui bloque la compilation des drivers propriétaires de nvidia.

donc j'ai fais :

apt-get install linux-restricted-modules-$(uname -r)

et il me sors :

Impossible de trouver le paquet linux-restricted-modules-2.6.25-2-386

Apparament, ce paquet n'est pas dispo dans les dépots !! alors que j'ai jamais touché à mon noyau, il est donc officiellement de ubuntu, HELP ! :-(

Regarde dans la liste des dépots de synaptics si les modules restricted sont activés.

je tag en résolu .. ouf !

En faites, j'utilise Lilo en loader, au lieu du grub standard, car mon bios fait bugger Grub.

Bref, depuis qq semaines donc (je m'en était pas apercu !), la config de Lilo ne se mettait pas a jour ! J'avais donc le dernier noyau installé (le 2.6.17), mais ca bootait encore sur le 2.6.15 ... d'ou les problèmes avec la mise à jour !

Donc j'ai modifié la config de lilo (/etc/lilo.conf) et au démarrage tout est rentré dans l'ordre, la vidéo, le son, tout est ok !
