Alien introuvable

Bonjour,

Je souhaiterais une imprimante, la Lexmark Z33. Malheureusement, ce n'est pas une tarte pour l'installer.

Il faudrait que j'utilise alien comme on peux voire sur ce post : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=159943

Sur Synaptic, Alien est introuvable. Faut il activer un dépot ?

J'ai la dernier version de Ubuntu : 8.10

alien est présent dans Synaptic chez moi ...

mais j'ai les 4 dépots activés (main, restricted, universe et multiverse)

Bon apparemment depuis Ubuntu 7.04 "Feisty" les dépots universe et multiverse sont activé par défaut : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/depots#principaux

J'ai même activé le dépôt commercial Canonical mais rien n'y fais. Lorsque je cherche dans Synaptic, le mot clef alien, je ne trouve toujours rien en rapport :

Bref, je sais pas comment as tu trouvé le logiciel Alien

Pour trouver alien (et non Alien !) il faut que tu passes par le menu Système > Admin > Gestion paquets Synaptic. ça devrait aller mieux !
