Bonjour, j'ai installer le noyeau rt via le site internet mais Grub démarre directement sur ubuntu sans le noyeau RT....
Que dois-je faire

Le noyau rt n'est pas dans la liste de Grub ???

le timeout de grub doit être trop court ...
Il faut regarder ça de plus près. Dans un terminal tape :
nano /boot/grub/menu.lst
et colle le résultat ici.

En fait c'est assez bizarre, quand je démarre l'ordi, au moment au grub se lance, j'ai donc le décompte des 10 secondes, mais je ne vois rien d'écrit.
J'ai installer le noyeau rt via le lien apt:// que propose ce site sur l'installation d'ubuntu-studio: http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/ubuntu_studio

Mets un # au début de la ligne hiddenmenu
Pour modifier le fichier, tu devras l'ouvrir avec les droits administrateur

merci, maintenant que je démarre Ubuntu 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-3-rt
...le serveur x se plante lamentablement, je me retrouve donc en console.... Que dois-je faire???

Tu utilises les pilotes graphiques propriétaires ? lesquels ?

Et comment les as-tu installés ?
Si tu les as compilés (par le script .run ou Envy), ils sont compilés pour le noyau generic, ils ne marcheront donc pas pour le noyau rt
