impossible de se connecter au réseau wifi
Bonsoir,
J'avais rapidement abandonner l'expérience linux il y a 1 an avec OpenSuse qui ne reconnaissait pas ma carte wifi malgré tous mes efforts.
Je viens de télécharger et d'installer Ubuntu 9.04 car il a la réputation de détecter beaucoup de matériel nativement. Et effectivement quand le bureau d'Ubuntu s'est affiché, la première chose que j'ai vu était "Plusieurs réseaux sont à portée" ( ). J'ai ensuite sélectionné mon réseau dans la liste et j'ai entré la clé WEP mais la connexion ne se fait pas et il me redemande la clé sans cesse .
J'ai lu que la version 9.04 pose des problèmes au niveau du wifi. Si je dois télécharger certaines choses pour résoudre mon problème je peux me connecter en ethernet (dès que j'aurais trouvé un câble assez long). Sinon est-ce qu'il y a une autre façon de procéder pour se connecter au réseau ou est-ce que la seule solution est d'installer une version d'Ubuntu antérieure?

Pourrais tu effectuer la commande suivante dans un terminal et nous donner son resultat juste apres d'avoir esssayé d'entrer la clé :
tail /var/log/syslog

Ou sinon, la solution ndiswrapper : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/ndiswrapper

Merci beaucoup pour ton aide!
Je vais d'abord essayer la 8.04 parceque là j'ai pas la force de me plonger dans le tuto
Si ça marche toujours pas j'essayerai avec wicd.
J'avais déjà essayé d'utiliser les pilotes windows sous OpenSuse avec ndiswrapper et wine. J'ai pas la même carte wifi qu'à l'époque donc j'arriverai peut-être à appliquer cette méthode avec plus de succès aujourd'hui.

Si tu as des difficultés pour les poster une à une:
cat /etc/lsb-release > cmd.txt
lsusb >> cmd.txt
lspci >> cmd.txt
lsmod >> cmd.txt
sudo lshw -C network >> cmd.txt && route-n >> cmd.txt
iwconfig >> cmd.txt
ifconfig >> cmd.txt

cat /etc/hosts >> cmd.txt
cat /etc/hostname >> cmd.txt
cat /etc/resolv.conf >> cmd.txt
cat /etc/network/interfaces >> cmd.txt
Avec ce bloc, tu as un fichier appellé "cmd.txt" dans ton home. Charge à toi de nous poster le contenu
Si tu as la possibilité de relier l'ordi au routeur, par cable, le temps de faire ce qui suit:
[Mise à jour de tout]
{Idem:à entrer dans un terminal, une ligne=une commande}.
sudo -s
aptitude update && aptitude safe-upgrade
aptitude full-upgrade
aptitude install build-essential linux-restricted-modules-$(uname -r)
aptitude install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
aptitude autoclean && update-pciids && update-usbids
reboot
Tu peux également vérifier, au redémarrage, si tu as de nouveaux modules à activer:
→menu→système→administration→Pilotes de périphériques
