connexion wi-fi...je n'y arrive pas!

Bonjour à toutes et tous,

Nous avons ici deux PC, celui qui me permet de me connecter sur ce forum via un câble Ethernet
et un portable que je n'arrive pas à connecter via un réseau sans fil sur notre alicebox.

et ça aussi, ou je comprend rien : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=129408

ça, qui préconise de désinstaller network-manager et de le réinstaller, après redémarrage. http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=320037 mais qui ne change rien.

et pleins d'autres lectures, toutes pas toujours compréhensible pour le débutant sous ubuntu que je suis.

Mon seul point fort sur ce coup...........ma patience

Peut-être l'un ou l'une d'entre vous saurait-il ou elle me conseiller?
Oui je sais, encore un topic sur un problème de connexion, mais là je ne trouve pas tout seul

Si tu as la possibilité de relier l'ordi au routeur, par cable, le temps de faire ce qui suit:

[Mise à jour de tout]
{à entrer dans un terminal, une ligne=une commande}.

aptitude full-upgrade
aptitude install build-essential linux-restricted-modules-$(uname -r)

Je dois bien reconnaitre, que, pour l'instant je ne comprends pas toutes ces manipulations.
Donc je me documente en même temps.
Pas simple, mais fascinant d'être acteur du fonctionnement.

Les commandes de mises à jour ne sont pas passées. Es tu l'administrateur du système?
Si oui, recommence, cela a foiré.

Ensuite, pour ta carte WF

Encore merci, non je ne suis pas l'administrateur, cet ordi est à mon fils, mais je connais ses codes.

J'ai recommencé et les mises à jour sont corectement passé.

Par contre pour la carte WF j'ai ce message.

nan; pour la carte, je citais ses références. Maintenant que tout est à jour, essaye de suivre les liens communiqués. Ton chipset étant un atheros, il te faut soit le module mad-wifi, soit passer par ndiswrapper et les drivers Microsoft.

Poste le retour de:

uname -r

iwconfig && ifconfig
sudo iwlist scan

Et utilise les balises de mise en page, sinon c'est franchement illisible. (tu sélectionnes le texte, et tu le places entre balises Code)

uname -r > cmd.txt
lsmod >> cmd.txt
sudo lshw -C network >> cmd.txt && route-n >> cmd.txt
sudo iwlist scan >> cmd.txt

avec ce 2° bloc, tu as un fichier cmd.txt dans ton home. Charge à toi de nous poster le contenu

avec ce 2° bloc, tu as un fichier cmd.txt dans ton home. Charge à toi de nous poster le contenu
