[Upgrade]Carte mère compatible C2Duo ?
Bonsoir a tous,
J'ai un vieux portable (5ans) avec un proc pentiom 4 qui chauffe a mort et qui du coup fait planter la machine de temps en temps. Cependant, il a un écran 17 pouces vachement bien, et je voudrais savoir si sa carte mere serait capable de prendre un processeur plus récent qui chauffe moins, genre un de la serie des "core".

et je voudrais savoir si sa carte mere serait capable de prendre un processeur plus récent qui chauffe moins, genre un de la serie des "core".
Bonjour, ton pc est un portable si tu veux remplacer la carte mère te reviendra plus cher que le prix de ton portable (ta carte mère n'est plus fabriquée), les cartes mères pour portable ne sont pas conçues comme une carte mère classique (emplacement des usb,lecteur optique, taille de la carte,...) , si tu pensais à acheter une carte mère pour un Core Duo ou Quad core déjà pour monter ton processeur sur la carte te posera des problèmes (Nombre de pin), le seul conseil que je te donne serait d'ouvrir ton portable est de nettoyer le ventilateur avec un surpresseur ou aspirateur sans sac (en cas de perte de pièce ce sera plus facile à le retrouver).

Non mais je ne veux pas changer de carte mere ! J'ai lu sur wikipedia que certaines cartes meres pour processeur P4 pouvait prendre des Core (http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_775), mais je suis incapable de savoir si MA carte mere possede le bon socket qui va bien et marche avec les core.
