Ubuntu 9.04, Packard Bell et Wi-fi
Bonjour!
J'ai installé Ubuntu sur mon portable il y a quelques jours, et malgré de nombreuses lectures et applications de tutoriels, impossible de faire fonctionner mon wifi...
Mon ordinateur (si si, ça rentre dans cette catégorie) est un Packard Bell EasyNote E4714, la carte Wi-Fi intégrée est une Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG.

Voilà, je pense que c'est bon... si j'ai oublié quelque chose ou si j'ai mal fait un copier/coller, n'hésitez pas à me le dire...
Je précise que pour activer le Wi-Fi sur ce portable, il faut le faire avec la combinaison de touches Fn F1, que j'ai déjà essayé de le faire puis de relancer un iwconfig, une fois, deux fois... avec redémarrages entre les tentatives, mais ça n'a rien changé.

Hélas non...
Existe-t-il u n protocole permettant d'être certain qu'il ne l'est pas?
Et y a-t-il une possibilité de l'activer sans passer pas cette satanée combinaison de touches? Car si la touche Fn fonctionne sans problème pour le pavé numérique, j'ai de gros doutes quant à son efficacité pour l'activation du Wi-Fi...

Un protocole pas spécialement, tout ce que je vois c'est que la carte est reconnue et fonctionnelle mais qu'elle ne détecte aucun réseau, et que dans 99.9% des cas ça veut juste dire qu'elle n'est pas allumée.

D'accord... je te fais confiance
J'ai pensé à faire une installation windows pour activer le wi-fi puis redémarrer sous linux et virer windows une fois le wi-fi activé, mais une des raisons du passage sous linux était justement un windows qui ne voulait pas s'installer sur la machine... je suppose qu'en m'acharnant je devrais pouvoir en venir à bout, mais vu la galère que ça va être... j'aimerais autant une solution pour récupérer toutes les fonctionnalités de la touche Fn sous linux ou pour allumer le wi-fi en passant outre cette touche...
