(Contourné) Lecteur/graveur DVD non reconnu

Bonjour,

J'ai un pc portable sony vaio VGN-NS21S. J'ai installé ubuntu il y a peu et je me suis rendue compte que le lecteur de dvd n'était pas reconnu du tout, alors que je n'avais jamais eu de problème auparavant sous Vista, et surtout, chose étrange, ubuntu a été installé à partir de ce meme lecteur dvd....

Si quelqu'un connaît la solution à mon problème....

Merci beaucoup !! (je serais triste de devoir repasser sous vista sad)

Salut,

As-tu fais des mises à jour système entre temps ?

Comment sais tu que le lecteur n'est pas reconnu ?

As-tu réessayé avec un live CD, voir si il est toujours correctement reconnu ?

Colles aussi le résultat de la commande suivante entrée dans un terminal (liste du contenu du fichier fstab 

cat /etc/fstab

le tout entre balises code.

Je sais que le lecteur n'est pas reconnu car lorsque je mets des cd ou des dvd, le lecteur fait du bruit normalement mais rien ne s'affiche dans le poste de travail ou sur le bureau...

Oui, j'ai fait des mises à jour depuis, tout est à jour normalement !

Pour ce qui est du live CD, je n'en ai pas....

et voilà le résultat de la commande :

Le lecteur est bien indiqué dans le fstab

/dev/scd0       /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec,utf8 0       0.

Par contre (je ne sais si cela peut gêner), le point en fin de ligne est-il réellement présent dans le fichier fstab ?

Si tu as un double boot, l'as-tu testé sous Vista récemment ?

Si tu as voulu lire un cd audio, et après avoir inséré le CD dans le lecteur, peux-tu lancer un logiciel de lecture audio (rhythmbox, vlc, etc) et essayer de le lire ?

Colles aussi le résultat de la commande 

dmesg | grep sc

toujours entre balises code.

Non, le "." à la fin, c'est moi qui l'ai rajouté !
Et je n'ai pas de double boot, juste linux !

J'ai essayé de lancer lecteur audio et vidéo après avoir mis le cd, mais impossible de lire quoi que ce soit....

Pour vérifier que le pilote standard gérant le lecteur de CD est bien chargé, vois ce que donne cette commande 

lsmod | cd

Cette commande devrait te retourner au moins une ligne.
==> S'il n'y a pas de retour, entre cette commande 

sudo modprobe cdrom

pour forcer le chargement du module en mémoire. Ensuite réessaye de lire un CD.

Installe le paquet gnome-device-manager. Pour le lancer, passe par le menu Applications => Outils Système. Recherche les infos concernant "optical drive".

Donne aussi le retour de la commande 

dmesg | grep sr

Concernant le module "cdrom", il semble qu'il soit maintenant intégré au noyau du système. Il n'y a donc rien à faire de ce côté.

Tu as oublié cette partie

Installe le paquet gnome-device-manager. Pour le lancer, passe par le menu Applications => Outils Système. Recherche les infos concernant "optical drive".

Donne aussi le retour aux commandes suivantes 

cat /etc/lsb-release
uname -a

[EDIT] Colle le contenu du fichier /var/log/syslog. Pour éditer ce fichier en lecture, utilise 

gedit /var/log/syslog

J'essaye de trouver une info à propos de ton lecteur, surtout s'il y en a concernant une erreur.

A propos de

Installe le paquet gnome-device-manager. Pour le lancer, passe par le menu Applications => Outils Système. Recherche les infos concernant "optical drive".

, tu n'as pas donné les informations concernant "optical drive", s'il y en a.

Ce qui veut donc dire que le système ne peut dialoguer avec le lecteur CD. Il est donc "normal" que l'on ne "voit" rien.

As-tu le CD Ubuntu qui t'a servi à installer le système ?

Oui, tu peux télécharger cette version http://ftp.crihan.fr/releases/9.04/ubun … p-i386.iso

Pour graver une piste ISO voir ici. Tu peux aussi installer CDBurnerXP si tu n'as pas de logiciel pouvant graver une image ISO.

Le temps que tu fasses cela, je ne serai probablement plus derrière mon écran. Au cas ou tu ne saurais pas utiliser un live CD, voir la documentation live-cd.

Non, ce que je veux que tu fasses pour le moment, est de démarrer en live CD sans rien installer, comme indiqué dans la doc live-cd.

J'ai démarré en live session comme tu m'as dit, tout se passe bien, et quand je vais dans le poste de travail, le lecteur apparaît smile

Mais comment faire pour qu'il apparaisse en session normale ?

Tu vas tout de même compléter l'état des lieux depuis ton système installé avec

et en entrant une ligne de commande à la fois.

Tu vas essayer, temporairement, de modifier la ligne de boot (démarrage) du système. Pour faire cette modification, suis ces infos :
1/ au message grub loading sur fond noir, appuies sur Echap
2/ sélectionne la 1ère ligne avec les flèches du clavier
3/ appuie sur e
4/ en fin de ligne ou est indiqué kernel ajoute l'une des options de boot indiquées ci-dessous (séparée par un espace) et apprès avoir une 2ème fois appuyé sur e
5/ valide avec la touche Entrée
6/ démarre le système avec la touche b

1er essai en ajoutant all_generic_ide
2ème essai en ajoutant acpi=off

Lors de chacun des 2 essais, tu vérifieras si le lecteur CD fonctionne.

J'ai bien fait ce que tu m'as conseillé, mais dans les 2cas le lecteur n'est toujours pas reconnu sad
Je commence à désespérer....

En faisant une autre recherche avec 

ubuntu launchpad cd drive sony vaio

j'ai trouvé ce sujet sur le forum anglophone.

L'utilisateur écrit que s'il démarre le système avec un CD (audio par exemple) dans le lecteur, celui ci est bien reconnu. Par contre, en démarrant avec un lecteur vide, le lecteur n'est pas reconnu par le système.

Tente donc. neutral

Ce problème semble être commun à plusieurs modèles de chez Sony.

[EDIT] Si le lecteur est reconnu, donne le retour à la commande 

sudo lshw -C storage

Si cette 1ère commande ne renvoie rien, utilise celle ci 

sudo lshw -C cdrom

Par contre, depuis les modifications de la ligne de boot, quand ubuntu démarre il y a un test (Routine check of drives) qui se fait, comment l'enlever ??

Mais le plus important c'est que la solution que tu as trouvé fonctionne, alors même si c'est pas forcément hyper pratique, c'est mieux que rien ! pas besoin de revenir à Vista ! Merci beaucoup! !!:D

Le message "Routine check of drives" apparait tout les 30 démarrages du système ou à la demande, via la commande 

sudo touch /forcefsck

C'est un contrôle de routine des partitions.

Donne tout de même le résultat de 

sudo lshw -C cdrom

afin de connaitre le modèle du lecteur CD.

Je pense que ton problème sera corrigé dans une prochaine version du noyau (kernel). Plus probablement dans la prochaine version d'Ubuntu.

Lorsque tu verras des mises à jour du paquet linux-image-generic, tu pourras tenter de démarrer avec le lecteur vide.

Enfin, si la solution temporaire te convient, modifies le titre de ton sujet en Lecteur/graveur DVD non reconnu sony vaio (CONTOURNE).

La commande donne : PCI (sysfs) puis ça s'efface, puis SCSI apparaît puis s'efface....
