Alors je n'avait pas de ath5k ou ath9k ni de trucs ressemblant a mettre en commentaire, donc je n'ai pas rebooté et j'ai tapé:
modprobe ath9k

@zbray :je suis le post parce que j'ai un probleme équivalent (avec une atheros) pour les erreurs : 'operation non permitted' c'est parce que t'as oublié un petit sudo !

ça montre quand même qu'il reste un fichier de config de ce p...de NdisWrapper dans /etc/modprobe.d...
Est il réellement désinstallé ?

donc voila avec le sudo cela donne ceci!
sinon je ne trouve pas de paquet ndiswrapper alors je ne sais pas trop comment vérifier si il en reste...en tout cas dans mon gestionnaire de paquets pas de traces.

ben oui parce que au moment de l'enlever avec le gestionnaire de paquet, tu as du choisir l'option "désintallation" au lieu de "suppression complète".
Mais c'est pas mortel, ouvre un terminal et tapes :
sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper
et tu n'auras plus de Warning

du coup quand je tape :
sudo modprobe ath9k
il n'y a plus de warning mais il n'y rien d'autre que rien:P
Comment on le trouve ath9k ?
Quelqu'un pourrait me dire comment faire pour savoir si il y a des conflits entre les diférents paquets que j'ai installé pour ma connexion.

je sais pas, moi aussi je suis confronté au problème sur un laptop, aucun moyen de trouver une solution, j'ai compilé des drivers atheros etc etc et rien, du coup ma copine se tape du ethernet uniquement en attendant une solution

Je suis dans la même situation sauf que bon j'ai pas accès a des connections Ethernet (pas a moins de 2h de route de chez moi) donc je suis un peut dans la m**** sachant que j'ai besoin du net pour bosser.

si ton "sudo modprobe ath9k" répond rien c'est que le module s'est chargé correctement
verifie en tapant :
sudo lsmod | grep ath

J'ai eu un problème de wifi dans des conditions similaires (passage à Karmic avec une carte chipset Atheros gérée par Wicd) et la solution était toute simple : lors du passage ma connexion a changé de nom (ath0 est devenu wlan0) mais ce changement ne s'est pas répercuté dans Wicd, j'ai dû le faire manuellement.
Je te conseille donc de vérifier dans les préférences de Wicd que le champ "Wireless interface" est bien wlan0, puisque c'est le nom de ton interface.

Moi aussi j'ai passé un moment à bidouiller les modules kernel et les config réseau avant de me rendre compte que c'était un problème tout simple.
Tu devrais ajouter [Résolu] devant le titre du thread pour les autres utilisateurs de Wicd qui passent par là.
