pdm

Karmic : problème pour entrer dans ma session sous gdm

Bonjour,

j'avais ouvert un sujet sur la question pensant que le souci venait de gdm mais je n'en suis pas sûr.

En fait, il faut que j'entre entre une et sept fois mon mot de passe avant que ma session se lance. Sinon, ça mouline un temps et ça revient à l'entrée du mot de passe.

Voici ce que tout à l'heure, ça a donné dans les logs (mot de passe entré trois fois, la troisième fois étant la bonne.

La réponse m'intéresse beaucoup car j'ai le même problème en pire depuis que j'ai installé, et même réinstallé Xubuntu Karmic alors que pas de problèmes sous jaunty. Lors de la réinstallation, j'ai même sélectionner l'option connexion direct en tant que Nom de login, mais même résultat, il me demande encore de m'identifier et bug en général plus de  10 fois avanr que j'ai accès à ma session.

J'ai continué à batailller de mon côté, et il semble que je sois arrivé à une solution. Ce bug n'a pas l'air de concerner grand monde, mais le problème vient apparemment de la résolution d'écran.
Quand j'ai trouvé cette piste j'ai essayé de passer en 1600x1200, et j'ai planté sur un écran noir.
Après quelques recherches sur live cd, j'ai trouvé plus simple de me retapper l'instal encore une fois. J'ai mis root en ext 4 et laisse home en ext 3 pour ne pas avoir à le formater et garder certaines traces de mon autre intallation. J'ai aussi choisi l'option sans identification (j'avais déjà essayé et ça me demandait quand même de me logger). Une fois la première connexion établi, j'ai de suite mis à jours les pilotes (pour moi ça me proposait des propriétaires nvidia), et je suis allé choisir 1600x1200 a la place du 1024x728. Redemmarrage et , ça marche, plus de mot de passe demandé, et même si je sors de la session et revient, une fois suffit.
Je suis pas très doué en informatique, mais j'espère que ça t'aidera.
Pour info, moi c'est xubuntu karmic avec environement xfce
