samsung Q2 à formater (résolu)

Bonjour,
J'ai récupéré un lecteur MP3 samsung Q2 dont l'écran est cassé. J'aimerais m'en servir comme d'une bête clé USB, et pour se faire, j'aimerais la formater. Il y a une partition (à mon avis) sur la clé qui fait qu'elle apparait avec son nom, comme un lecteur audio. GParted ne la voit pas, je me sens impuissant devant ce blocage proprio...pénible. "sudo fdisk -l" ne liste pas le volume non plus.

Fait un lsusb deja pour voir si le truc est bien reconnu en tant que peripherique USB.

Le Q2 de Samsung est un baladeur qui a une connexion par protocole MTP avec ton système d'exploitation. MTP est un protocole conçu spécialement pour les périphériques multimédias. Il s'oppose au protocole MSC, utilisé par tous les périphériques de stockages de masse (comme une clé USB).

GParted ne peut pas formater ton baladeur car ton baladeur (protocole MTP) n'est pas reconnu comme une clé USB (protocole MSC).

Plusieurs baladeurs de marque Samsung permettent de configurer avec quel protocole (MTP ou MSC) le baladeur doit se connecter à l'ordinateur; il semble que ce soit le cas du Q2. Vérifie cette possibilité dans les options avancées de ton baladeur (ou lis le manuel de ton baladeur, ou demande de l'aide chez GénérationMP3, spécialisée dans les baladeurs). Tant que ton baladeur ne se connectera pas en mode MSC à ton ordinateur, alors GParted ne pourra pas le formater.

Bravo et merci à AlexandreP. J'ai trouvé le manuel du Q2 sur le site samsung et en tâtonnant (et oui, un écran HS c'est pas facile) et à l'oreille, j'ai fait passer le lecteur de MTP à MSC. Et ça marche !
Encore une fois bravo !
