[Résolu] Probleme Ati (encore et toujours ...)

Voila j'ai un ami qui veut se mettre a ubuntu j'ai suivie le tuto du wiki pour l'installation des pilotes.

celui-ci : http://wiki.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/ati (pour le tuto)

Le materiel est :

Ordinateur portable ACER travelmate 2100
Carte graphique : ati mobility 9000 agp

et a l'installation des driver il n'utilise pas les bon pilotes selon moi ...

fglrxinfo :

l'install du driver radeon:

moi j'ai eu que des problemes a l'installation de fglrx avec une ati firegl 9000
et la se trouve la solution :

L'install du driver Ati.

D'ailleur j'ai testé avec mon pc principale ... Ma 3D ne fonctionne pas non plus avec la version 6.06.1 (de ubuntu) alors qu'avec la 6.06 ça fonctionne impec ...

Donc je testerais sur le portable a mon ami la 6.06 et tiendrais a jour le topic.

et ton site me parrait super yaitanes smile !

Est ce que une mise à jour du kernel est obligatoire ?

Ou une autre solution sous dapper que j'ai toujours fait de cette maniere sur toute version ubuntu et je n'ai jamais de probleme 3d ou autre.Encore ce matin.
sous synaptic a jour(update) chargez:
& build-essential
& fglrx-control
& xorg-driver-fglrx
& xorg-driver-fglrx-dev
& xserver-xorg-driverver-ati
sous console terminal.
sudo aticonfig --initial -f 
reboot
sous console terminal.
& glxinfo

oui oui il faut installer les drivers radeon (jusqu'à radeon 9200 inclus) d'autant plus qu'après on peu installer aiglx smile

et là ça en jette!
en plus, par rappor à XGL, on peu toujours utiliser des applis 3D! Donc il ne faut pas hésiter!

donc d'abord, il faut supprimer les driver flgrx et remettre "ati" dans la section "Device" de Xorg.conf

je joint mon xorg.conf (moi aussi j'ai une ati 9000 mobility) pour vous aider Attention à l'adapter en fonction de l'écran (section Default Screen)!
Ce xorg permet de connecter un écran externe et donc de faire une présentation impress par exemple (il faut démarrer l'ordi jusqu'au gdm, puis brancher le cable du video projecteur et enfin faire Ctrl+Alt+BackSpace pour redémarrer X et permettre au pilote de déctecter l'écran externe et d'adapter la résolution) :
