Installer FREENX

Bonjour,

Je souhaite installer FreeNX sur ma ubuntu.
Pourriez-vous m'indiquer quel dépot rajouté à mon source.list
ainsi que le necessaire a installé...

freenx ? nxserver ? nx-agent ?!

Le but : Prendre le controle de ma machine depuis un poste windows.

Salut,

J'ai du utiliser ces sources pour parvenir à installer freenx :

deb http://debian.tu-bs.de/project/kanotix/stable/ stable-backports nx
deb-src http://debian.tu-bs.de/project/kanotix/stable/ stable-backports nx

Cependant, je ne suis pas capable de passer de nomachine sur xp à freenx sur xubuntu. Je n'étais pas capable d'authentifier alors j'ai cherché sur internet et vu qu'il semble y avoir des problèmes avec la derniere version de nomachine (2.0.0.98). Certains utilisateurs ont réglé leur problème en rétrogradant à 2.0.0.93. Ce que j'ai fait. L'authentification fonctionne maintenant mais la fenêtre d'authentification disparaît et aucune autre fenêtre n'apparaît. Cepedant, nxwin.exe demeure en éxécution. J'ai ensuite vu sur internet que 2.0.0.93 pouvait aussi causer des problèmes pour lesquels il y a deux fix. J'ai bienb tenter ces deux fixes mais pas de changement. Alors je cherche encore. Je pense à tenter avec une version antérieure à 2.0. Nomachine semble travailler fort pour nous empecher d'utiliser son client sans utiliser son serveur ... M'enfin.

En passant, j'ai configuré nomachine pour utiliser startxfce4 dans les config sous unix.

Si quelqu'un peut apporter une solution, elle serait la bienvenue !!

J'ai installé 2.0.0-94 téléchargé en deb directement sur le site de l'éditeur, ça marche impec
J'ai même les effets compiz dans le client windows ...

j'ai trouvé enfin le client nx de nomachine version 1.5 pour win... pas facile !!!

j'ai pas encore testé cependant. je vais faire ca des que j'arrive a la maison.

pour ceux qui aimeraient le client, voici comment je l'ai trouvé (car j'ai pas réussi avec google) : une recherche pour 'nxclient-1.5' dans des engins de recherche pour ftp.

Visiblement pbl d'authentification par clés. As-tu essayer via passwd ?

Oups, moi aussi j'ai oublié de faire un retour d'expérience pour celles et ceux qui passeraient par là ! :-)

De la même façon, j'ai dû avoir recours à une version antérieur du client : la 1.5 qui fonctionne très bien pour ce que j'en ai vu.

Malheureusement, la version 1.5 ne permet pas d'utiliser autre chose qu'un clavier US sur le poste distant

Dispo sur ce dépôt dédié à Dapper une version de freenx :
freenx : freenx_0.4.4+0.4.5-4ubuntu3_all.deb
nx : 1.4.92+1.5.0-11ubuntu1
etc...
