Edgy eft pas de 3d ati 9600 pro

Bonjour à vous chers adeptes d'Ubuntu.

Tétû et envieux d'utiliser un système performant, j'ai installé Ubuntu Edgy eft sur mon Pc avec une partition neuve de 120gb.

Carte graphique AGP ati9600pro
Ram 1,5gb
carte mere asus je sais plus quoi.....

bref ça marche bien mais pas de 3d supportée même après plusieurs plantages de serveur x suite à différentes solutions sur les forums pour arriver à faire tourner XGL ou aiglx avec beryl ou compiz....

Ca marche sur mon portable dell mais pas sur mon pc c'est pas normal!

please aidez moi...

Moi aussi j'ai des problemes avec edgy et aiglx. Mais c different parce que tout parait normal mais je n'ai pas les effet 3D.

J'ai une carte ATI radeon mobility X1600

il semble que aiglx ne puisse fonctionner avec les drivers proprio d'ati (fglrx).

donc pour avoir les effets 3d, utiliser xgl à la place d'aiglx ou bien, utiliser les drivers libres (radeon).

J'ai réussi à installer Beryl sur Edgy avec ma carte ATI radeon 9600xt en suivant ce tutoriel

merci du conseil et tuto tres bien fait. install bien passée mais pas d'effets 3d mee avec beryl chargé sous xgl....on approche!!!

bon retour au point de départ.... pas de 3d
drivers libresxgl et beryl virés.
mais avant de réinstaller beryl il me faut la 3d.

T'es sur que c'est une carte AGP 8x, j'ai une 9600 sur mon portable Dell et c'est une 4x.

Perso, j'ai tenté AIGLX + Driver libre, c'est inutilisable, c'est très lent, les effets saccades...

Je vais aussi tenter de repasser sur XGL, mais pas fait pour l'instant.

Ca y est Kiki j'ai refait ma config avec XGL et je te confirme qu'avec ma 9600 y a pas photo, c'est super fluide même avec le plugin "blur" donc AIGLX + Drvier libre c'est largement pas au niveau.
