[RESOLU] comprends rien au serveur de messagerie

salut tout le monde,

je reviens avec une enieme question. Comme à mon habitude ce post va etre tres detaille et tres long.
je poste ici mais en fait je ne sais meme pas par quel bout concevoir la solution à mon probleme.

Merci encore plus à ceux qui se décideront à me répondre car ça va pas etre de la tarte.

donc, comme toujours, je vous explique la situation, et ce que j' ai fait ensuite.

Donc:
j' ai recupere un site opensource (un jeu php avec db postgresql) que je souhaite installer en local pour tester .

le site tourne en local (apres moults essais phppgadmin et postgresql, apache2, j' y suis arrivé).

Il faut etre 4 inscrits sur le site pour lancer une partie.

L' inscription se fait via un formulaire, on remplit un pseudo, son email et d' autres infos >> on appuie sur envoyer et un email du webmaster vous arrive en vous signalant que vous devez cliquer sur le lien ci dessous pour confirmer votre inscription. (vous voyez le topo hyper classique).

Voilà c' est tout c' est pas plus con à part que je ne sais absolument comment solutionner mon probeme.

Personnellement, je pensais
creer 4 utilisateurs unix sur mon systeme
creer à ces 4 utilisateurs une adresse mail en local et une veritable
   - local car vu que le site tourne en local, peut etre que ça fonctionnera, le coup de confirmer son inscription en cliquant sur un lien
   - veritable au cas ou le local ne fonctionnerait pas.

Voilà alors j' ai regarde la doc sur postfix (en fait je la regarde encore, ça fait 3 jours que je lis la doc, le forum et d' autres sites MAIS JE COMPRENDS QUE DALLE)

j' ai deja inscrit un joueur factice qui aurait du recevoir un mail de demande de confirmation (sur une veritable adresse mail), hors le mail n' est jamais parvenu à l' adresse renseignee via le formaulaire d' inscription. Je pense donc qu' il me fait un serveur de messagerie et c' est pour cela que je me suis tourne vers postfix.

J' ai deja installe postfix, mais comme je vous l' ai dit plus haut, j' y entrave absolument rien du tout. Dans les options j' ai choisi utilisation locale c' est tout et je me retrouve la. J' ai essaye de m' envoyer un mail (apres avoir installé procmail) mais ça n' a pas fonctionné.
Sur la doc ubuntu, y' a une section du tuto qui parle de IMAP, j' ai jamais rien vu qui conernait IMAP
pendant que j' installais postfix.

voilà,

alors deja, pensez vous que la maniere dont j' attaque le probleme soit correcte

dans le cas d' une utilisation de postfix, y' aurai t il une bonne ame pour m' aider à configurer ce programme avec si possible recuperation des mails via evolution.

J' en demande beaucoup, je m' en rends compte, mais franchement je pense pas pouvoir m' en tirer tout seul.
autant j' ai bataillé avec postgres et phppgadmin parceque je comprenais ce que je lisais autant là, le vocabulaire c' est du charabia en ce qui me concerne.

Est ce que tu as la ligne suivante dans ton php.ini ?
"sendmail_path =/usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i "

que dit le "/var/log/mail.log" ? (du démarrage de postfix au passage d'un mail)

Qu'elle est la conf de postfix ?   ( oups.. "postconf -n")

ds le php.ini
la variable "sendmail_path" n' est pas renseignee et est commentee (;), je la renseigne dés maintenant ?

Oui decommente "sendmail_path"

Pour les logs, deja tu as un pb avec ton hostname...

En fait c'est "postconf -n" désolé...

Bon déjà le hostname n'est pas bon.
Mets:

myhostname = tonserveur.tonNomDeDomaine.com

La vraie méthode "propre" c'est de mettre ce nom "propre" dans /etc/hostname et de virer la ligne myhostname de ton main.cf

Entre autres pas super top, moi je virerais aussi ta ligne mydestination


sauve...
postfix reload...

Si tu as toujours des pb, tu me remets les nouveaux logs ET le nouveau"postconf -n"

bon attends 30s please, deja je comprends pas certaines choses.

"myhostname= tonserveur.tonNomDeDomaine.com"
- serveur c' est le nom donné a ma machine qd j' ai installe dapperdrake qui apparait au prompt c' est ça ?
j' ai un prompt= util01@dapper-drake donc mon serveur se nomme dapper-drake ?

- nom de domaine= hotmail.com, wanadoo.fr, laposte.net ?
dans le cas de mails locaux je mets localhost ?
et si je veux postfix pour un usage internet et local ?

voila, desole pour les questions mais j' ai beson de connaitre un peu le pourquoi de ces manips.

T'envoi ton mail vers caramail...
Tu t'attend a recevoir un mail... qui aura donc un expediteur...
Cet expediteur sera par defaut : www-data@LeNomDeDomaine.ChoisiCommeHostname.com

Bon..Postfix, prendra aussi ce nom, comme champs Hostname lors de la commande SMTP HELO ton.nom.com  .. et comme la RFC stipule que le hostname soit FQDN (ou l'ip entre crochets) alors il faut le faire..

Si ton site web est public, tu as surement un nom de domaine, bahhh tu le mets...
en tous cas c'est plus propre de mettre le tien.. (surtout si tu veux recevoir les erreurs de non delivery et tout)

on s'en fout si le nom que tu mets dans postfix, est pas le meme que celui de la machine (c'est juste + simple/propre si tu fais comme ca).

jeuxvideo.com m' envoie un mail de confirmation de pseudo

ds evolution j' ai de: inscription@jeuxvideo.com

dc ton www-data= inscription
ton nom de domaine= jeuxvideo
Choisicommehostname= ???
.com= .com

que represente le NomDeDomaine (ça doit etre jeuxvideo, dc le nom de domaine c' est ce qui precede le .com, ou le .fr ou encore le .org c' est ça ?)

que represente ChoisiCommeHostname

Desole d' etre aussi lourd mais j' ai besoin de comprendre.

j' ai vire le "mydestination" comme tu me l' as conseillé.
"myhostname" est correct ? je suis pas obligé d' apdopter une syntaxe avec 2dot ? (c' est le point que je souhaite eclaircir, j' en ai jamais vu auparavant).

pour le moment, je fais pas la methode propre.

c' est, toujours pour le moment, une utilisation locale. (apres si tu vx bien...)

alors je reçois les mails que j' envoie sous user01 a destination de user01 (j' ai pas encore cree les autres users). Je les reçois ds /var/mail/user01 et non pas ds Maildir (j' y arrivais la semaine derniere mais helas je ne sais plus comment).
