[résolu] wifi instable Intel WiFi Link 5100
Bonjour à tous,
J'ai déjà eu un problème avec ma connexion wifi http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=397355. Je n'ai pas trouvé de solution, j'ai alors réinstaller ubuntu 10.04, ce qui a temporairement résolu mon problème. Mais voilà que mon wifi redevient instable, il se déconnecte intempestivement, et très souvent il n'y a plus de débit, ce qui fait que le délai d'affichage des pages web est dépassé. Je suis sur un dell inspiron avec une carte intel wifi link 5100. Quelqu'un peut-il m'éclairer sur cette dégradation de ma connexion wifi?

There is a problem with kernel 3.0.0.x and Intel wifi under 802.11n.
We are all waiting for the fix in the kernel.
There is a workaround:
Create a file /etc/modprobe.d/intel_11n_disable.conf containing :
options iwlagn 11n_disable=1
sudo update-initramfs -ureboot or

Avec le passage à ubuntu 12.04 le driver a changer c'est désormais iwlwifi. Voici les commandes pour désactiver la norme n de la carte wifi intel :
The solution is similar but it needs to use iwlwifi.conf and the value must be set to 1.
From terminal
