quick

noyau k7 probleme DRM

bonjour,

je suis sous dapper 6.06 avec un noyau 386 et je voulais installer le noyau k7 pour mon amd64 donc :

sudo apt-get install linux-k7

la procedure d'installation se deroule sans probleme sauf que quand je boot sur le k7,

le boot s'arrete sur : Mounting root file system et puis plus rien.

Je reboot sur le 386 et je consulte les logs et voila l'erreur :

(EE) RADEON(0): [dri] RADEONDRIGetVersion failed to open the DRM

je vous met ceci en plus si cela peut aider :

ee, pour l'accel 3D et tout... c'est perfectible... j'arrive alors que tu est déjà probablement passé sous feisty fawn, mais il y a d'assez franche incompatibilités entre les architechture (environnement 64 bits pas capable de faire tourner Flash ou tout autre logiciel propriétaire seulement compilé en 32 bit dans leur version linux, ou wine non plus: pas compatible avec AMD64 et kernel optimisé... or c'est parfois indispensable pour l'acceleration 3D et certaines libréries que d'avoir le kernel optimisé (module opengl)...
donc, la se pose un dilème... 32 bits ou pas?
