Bi-écran sur ATI 1600xt
Bonjour la communauté,

Tout d'abord je tiens remercier ubuntu-fr pour ses très bon tuto, et pour la patience de la communauté sur le forum :-)
Venons en au probleme. cela fait moultes jours que je suis sur mon probleme de bi-ecran/acceleration graphique. et finalement, n'ayant pas reussi a obtenir ce que je veux, je me decide a poster ici

Je possede un adm64x2, une ati (snfi) 1600xt et deux ecrans plats LG 1930SQ et ASUS vw192s.
j'ai tenté plein de chose pour faire fonctionner mon bi-ecran avec l'acceleration, et la seul config qui marche est le bi-ecran avec bureaux "séparés", les fenetres ne pouvant pas passer de l'un a l'autre. pas trop genant, neamoins, dans cette config, les polices d'ecritures sont horribles a lire (soit trop petite soit illisible) et de plus, l'acceleration ne semble pas etre stable. Ex.: je lance second life linux (no comment, cest pour tester ,)) et tout va bien pendant un moment, puis ca ralenti considerablement graphiquement, meme chose avec open arena.
Alors mes questions sont, comment m'en sortir avec ce probleme de polices ? (a savoir que j'ai reglé les frequences H et V avec les données constructeurs, et que c'est encore pire).
Comment faire du bi-ecran avec acceleration materiele ?
Autre remarque, XGL ne marche pas du tout chez moi, apparement tjs ce probleme de frequences HV..
Voici qq infos:
- j'utilise Kubuntu 7.04 et le kernel 2.6.20-16-generic
- je n'arrive plus a demarrer amdcccle
- displayconfig demarre, reconnait les ecrans, les resolutions, mais lors de modif me produit un xorg.conf buggé avec plein de truc a double
- j'utilise envy pour installer les drivers
