C'est difficile de prévoir la compatibilité avec le noyau linux d'une machine Lambda en dehors :
- des machines certifiés par canonical : http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/
- Des Machines vendus avec ubuntu préinstallé : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/ordinateur_vendu_avec_ubuntu
Néanmoins si ce sont des machines CPU+CG Intel , il y a de fortes chances que la plupart des fonctions soient supportés.
Je pourrais ajouter que c'est dommage de payer la taxe WIndows si tu ne comptes pas l'utiliser mais il est clair que ces 2 machines solder ont un rapport puissance/prix imbattable pour un petit revendeur respectant les lois sur la vente liée.

le asus a pour lui le fait que le constructeur rembourse facilement windows. Il ne faut pas activer windows, se rendre sur le site d'asus et récupérer un document à remplir accompagné des cd/dvd et du sticker de licence windows non déchiré (le décoller sans l'abimer est le plus difficile). 2-3 Mois après une somme forfaitaire est versée sur son compte.

->Freechelmi : effectivement pour la licence Windows. A la base, je voulais prendre un pc LDLC sans os. Mais je préfère avoir WIndows car je travaille avec des gens qui ont WIndows, et pour les projets en équipe, ça risque d'être handicapant.

je possède un Toshiba Sattelite L650 et Xubuntu 12/04 fonctionne pas mal dessus à part un problème connu des Toshiba: les touche "fn" ne sont pas opérationnelles.Pour le contrôle du son il y a moyen de contourner ce dysfonctionnement mais pas pour le contrôle de la luminosité (du moins je n'ai pas trouvé).

Non la plupart des machines HP ne sont pas certifié , ils certifient surtout les serveurs.
Comme Dell et Lenovo , HP fait tout pour ne pas rembourser les licences Windows......
