Dual-boot ubuntu windows 8 raté comment réparer ??
Bonjour,
J'ai installé ubuntu 13.04 avec linuxSecure sur un pc (Sony vaio acheté recemment) avec windows 8 pré-installé.
Comme je n'était pas au courant du nouveau bios. UEFI donc.
J'ai été dans le bios changé uefi en legacy. => Ensuite j'ai réussi a booté sur linuxsecure (DVD) et installé normalement ubuntu me disant
que tout va bien.
Surprise lors du redemarrage plus acces à windows. : Message d'erreur disant d'inserer le cd d'installation et de faire réparer l'ordinateur.
Comme pas de cd. je me retrouve coincé. J'arrive plus a booté sur windows 8.
Et quand je repasse en UEFI. J'ai un message d'erreur au démarrage qui me dit : Secure boot failed. operating system....
Tentative de réparation :
- avec bootrepair mais il me dit que mon mbr est loin. (pas trop compris)
- et jai acces a rien du tout a part ubuntu ni la partition de recovery ni rien
Quelqu'un a déjà eu le même problème et comment a t il fait pour pouvoir rebooter sur windows sachant que tout les partition sont bien là. ???
Je pense qu'il faut réecrire le mbr mais j'ai un gros doute.

Pourrais-tu répondre à cette demande : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/boot-info
Sauf qu'au lieu de faire ce qui est proposé à l'étape 1, je te prie de faire ce Boot-Info depuis ta session de Ubuntu installé sur disque dur.
D'autre part, pourrais-tu être très précis sur le modèle de ton ordi ("Sony Vaio", c'est trop vague. Il faut un nom plus complet par exemple SVE1513U1E)

En vue de cet objectif, il faudrait que tu rétablisses le mode UEFI mais que tu désactives Secure Boot (voir nota) et ensuite que tu démarres (en mode EFI donc) sur ton liveDVD. D'après cette doc, il faut que tu vois cet écran au démarrage alors qu'en mode non-EFI (c'est ton mode actuel) tu vois cet écran
* il est assez important que les deux OS soient installés dans le même mode : soit tous les deux dans le mode EFI, soit tous les deux dans le mode non-EFI. Comme ton Windows 8 est livré préinstallé en mode EFI, tu aurais dû (si tu avais lu ce tuto) installer aussi Ubuntu en mode EFI
nota : dans ce post, il y a la méthode pour désactiver le Secure Boot pour un Sony Vaio série E. Je ne suis pas sûr du tout que ça soit exactement la même procédure à suivre pour ton modèle mais si ça peut t'aider...

Merci je teste sa et pour désinstaller ubuntu j'utilise l'utilitaire qui est dans le linuxSecure. Mais je pense qu'il ne supprime pas la partition ? ou bien est ce que je réinstalle sur la meme partition ?? et c'est bien la sda12 sur lequel j'ai installé Ubuntu si j'ai bien vu ??

J'ai essayé mais avec mon linuxsecure que j'ai telechargé via ce site. j'ai crée un disque de démarage via l'outil de windows 7.
Mais il démarre pas en mode UEFI. Le pc essaye de lire ce qu'il y a sur le cd mais apres il dit : SecureBoot failed. Operating system not found.

Je pense que tu n'as pas réussi à désactiver Secure Boot. Dans ce fil , on trouve dans le post #10 en message proche de celui que tu as :
Using a CD: "Secure Boot Failed. Operating System is invalid." Dans le post #14 du même fil, on voit que la désactivation de Secure Boot a résolu le problème :
The Sony Vaio Bios does let me turn off the "Secure Boot". I was able to boot to the CD, etc....As-tu bien la possibilité d'aller dans ton système UEFI au démarrage suivant la procédure suivante :
1) éteindre l'ordi
2) l'ordi étant éteint, presser seulement le bouton assist (bouton rouge qui se trouve à côté du bouton power on)

J'arrive bien à faire la manip demandé, j'arrive bien à acceder au bios. je met bien disabled pour le secureboot dans l'onglet security.
saves changes et je redémarre le pc. mais il démarre pas sur le cd.
De plus, aujourdhui il ne me dit plus operating is invalid mais maintenant bizarrement il m'affiche quand je démarre en mode uefi

Quelles sont les versions de linux qu'on peut installer en mode uefi ?? parce que j'ai vu sur d'autre forum, que ubuntu francophone avait un bug et qu'on pouvait pas l'installer en mode uefi.
Et pour l'erreur "error : file '/boot/grub/x86_64-efi/normal.mod" not found.

Bonjour. Si tu arrive sur grub rescue, c'est probablement parce qu'il ne trouve pas les composants nécessaires dans le répertoire boot dans la partition linux, (ce qui permet entre autre d'afficher le menu grub.)
Tu n'aurais pas désinstallé ton linux entre temps ? (tu en parlais plus haut)

Non je n'ai pas désinstallé ubuntu, c'est lorsque je démarre en mode uefi qu'il me donne grub rescue
mais si je demarrre en mode legacy là il démarre normalement avec grub qui saffiche bien je peux aller sur ubuntu mais je ne peux pas acceder a windows 8
Et j'arrive toujours pas à trouver un ubuntu qui boot en mode uefi donc jai toujours pas réinstaller ubuntu.

Au vu de ton rapport boot info, tu as une version linux secure 64 bits.
/dev/sda12:L'OS actuellement utilisé - Linux-Secure-Remix-64bit 20may2013 CurrentSession:linuxEt cette version est correcte en principe (voir cf point 1 ici http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/uefi).
Donc maintenant il faut que ton bios reste réglé dans l'état ou le démarrage t'amène au grub rescue (mode efi avec secured boot désactivé), et que tu fasse ta réinstallation avec cette version.
edit : je viens de réaliser que ton problème maintenant c'est que tu n'arrive pas à démarrer sur le cd en mode efi.
Il faut que tu trouve le moyen lors du démarrage de choisir le démarrage sur le cd en priorité, tout en restant en efi.
Voir éventuellement dans les options du bios...

Voilà la méthode indiquée dans le manuel utilisateur pour démarrer sur le cd.
Appuyez sur le bouton ASSIST alors que votre ordinateur VAIO est éteint.
L'écran VAIO Care (Mode de Récupération) (VAIO Care (Rescue Mode)) apparaît.
Sélectionnez Démarrer depuis un support (périphérique USB/disque optique) (Start from media (USB device/optical disc)).
Le processus de démarrage à partir d'un périphérique externe commence.
Si vraiment tu n'y arrive pas, je t'indiquerais une méthode pour tenter de réinstaller le grub en mode efi sur ton installation existante

Il n'arrive pas à booter je comprend pas, je fais bien comme vous le dites en passant par le bouton assist mais il n'arrive pas à booter dessus.
Il affiche un écran disant "Votre ordinateur VAIO n'a pas pu commencer l'utilisation du support de récupération"
Les options ci-après peuvent corriger cette erreur : et j'ai le choix entre
- Démarrez encore la récupération du systeme à l'aide du Support de récupération
- Démarrer la configuration du bios.
Et maintenant je remet en doute le cd, est ce que je l'ai bien gravé. Pour moi oui, car en mode legacy il se lance bien.
Et aussi, j'ai utilisé l'utilitaire de windows 7 en lui donnant linuxsSecure, y avait il une manipulation supplémentaire à faire ??

Ce que je ne comprend pas, c'est qu'à un moment tu as bien réussi a installer un grub-efi, autrement tu n'aurais pas l'invite gub-rescue lorsque tu démarre en EFI. D'ailleurs c'est confirmé par la présence du fichier /EFI/ubuntu/grubx64.efi dans la partition EFI.
Ce qui suppose que tu as pu démarrer sur le cd en mode efi (mais probablement à ce moment le démarrage a bloqué à cause du secured boot)
peut-être que le cd a un défaut, effectivement. Tu peux vérifier le cd en redémarrant dessus (en mode legacy donc) et pendant le démarrage du cd tu appuie sur la barre d'espace pour avoir l'affichage du menu de démarrage. La tu as une option pour tester le cd (ça s'appelle tester le disque. mais il s'agit bien du cd)
Autrement, je ne sais pas ce que vaut l'utilitaire windows pour faire un live cd, mais tu peux retenter l'opération à partir de ubuntu avec "créateur de disque de démarrage".
En dernier recours, tu peux tenter une réinstallation du grub EFI depuis le mode legacy :
- redémarrage du pc en mode legacy
- lancement ubuntu à partir du menu grub
- depuis un terminal
sudo mkdir /bootbk
sudo cp -a /boot/* /bootbk
sudo apt-get install grub-efi-amd64donne le retour des commandes avant de redémarrer...
ensuite il faudra repasser le bios en mode EFI. (et toujours avec secure boot désactivé)

Je viens de lancer l'utilitaire pour tester le cd. J'ai vu qu'il y avait bien le fichier grub.efi je pense que mon cd est bon. Il m'a dit no problemo pour le disk il est bon.
Et pour le grub efi, c'est peut etre parce qu'il est fournit avec linuxSecure ??
Ou car javais déjà fais des manipulations pour réparer, j'avais utiliser boot-repair mais apres j'ai qd mm formaté et réinstaller linuxsecure car jétais bloqué avec "error : file '/boot/grub/x86_64-efi/normal.mod" not found.
grub rescue> donc j'ai réinstallé toujours en mode legacy.

Et je sais pas si vous avez fais attention dans le bean info, j'ai vu qu'il y est marqué que
" les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Linux-Secure-Remix-64bit 20may2013] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. En principe, ce problème de fichiers trop loin ne concerne que le boot bios legacy, et plutôt sur de vieux pc...

Ou car javais déjà fais des manipulations pour réparer...Oui, mais pour que les fichiers efi soient là, il a fallu que tu démarre sur le cd en mode efi. Autrement boot repair install un grub legacy.
Bref, je me perd en conjecture. Mais si tu n'arrive toujours pas à démarrer sur le cd en mode EFI, je suggère de passer à la dernière solution que j'ai indiqué. Pour tenter de réinstaller le grub efi depuis le mode legacy

renvoyer le contenu du terminal contenant les commandes indiquées et l'affichage qui en résulte (CTRL MAJ C) pour copier le texte sélectionné dans le terminal.
Ensuite dans le message, mettre le résultat du collage dans une balise code (il suffit de cliquer sur le symbole <> qui apparait au dessus de la boite de message, et les balises sont ajoutées au début et à la fin du texte sélectionné dans le message)
