[Dualboot W8] Asus R510CC-XX406H
Bonjour à tous !
Je me présente je suis nouveau sur le forum. Donc moi c'est Bonny, je suis étudiant en informatique (1ère année de DUT Informatique) et j'ai depuis septembre un Asus R510CC-XX406H plus souvent référencé par Asus par son nom de gamme : R510C. J'ai le besoin mais surtout l'envie d'installer sur ce PC (portable) Ubuntu en dualboot avec Windows 8.1. Cela fait un bon moment que je me renseigne mais malgré tout je suis assez perdu. Je vais vous détailler ma situation.
Je vous rassure je suis bien au courant du mode UEFI etc. Premier problème qui se pose à moi, en utilisation sur Windows, au boot les couleurs sont bleutées puis reviennent à la normale au bout de 1 ou 2 min je dirai. En soit ce n'est pas gênant à ceci près que lorsque j'utilise Ubuntu en session live sur le CD d'installation (Ubuntu 13.10 version internationnale), la teinte bleutée est permanante, j'ai cherché partout sans solution. Avez vous des idées ?
Deuxième problème, le dual boot en lui même. Alors même que j'avais tout prévu, la redimension de la partition D:, comment gérer un peu tout. Je tombe sur ce genre de chose qui me font peur : http://helper-formation.fr/entraide/lin … t2614.html Je ne peux vraiment pas me permettre de rater l'installation ou perdre Windows. Je tiens à préciser que j'ai de 5 à 7 partitions sur le disque dur selon là où je regarde : C:, D:, UEFI, et 3 de restauration. Néanmoins le nombre de partitions n'est pas limité.
Comment m'y prendre pour ne rien risquer et parvenir à installer ce dualboot ? Les partitions de récupération sont-elles vraiment génantes ? Pouvez vous me guider ?
Je comptais me lancer pendant les vacances (du 15 fevrier au 2 mars) mais si ce n'est pas possible c'est pas grave.

EDIT : j'ai oublié de préciser mais j'ai deux GPU ou plutôt un GPU et un chipset (Nvidia geforce 720m/ Intel HD graphics 4000 je crois) Est-ce problématique? Je sais qu'à un moment les deux tournaient en permanence sous Ubuntu.

Tu posteras juste l'URL du Boot-Info comme demandé. Je pourrai vérifier qu'il n'y a pas d'anomalie ni une config particulière susceptible de compliquer la mise en place de ton dual-boot.

Je fais ça dès que je rentre chez moi.
Tu as une idée pour la teinte bleutée ? Le SAV Asus me propose de faire une restauration mais c'est tout ce qu'ils savent proposer 
J'ai déjà réinstallé les drivers.

(*) la doc propose de diminuer la taille de la partition C: mais comme tu sembles avoir très peur de casser ton Windows, je pense qu'il est préférable de toucher à ta partition DATA (probablement désignée D: par Windows) plutôt qu'à ta partition C:

Salut à tous, je suis donc parvenu à installer ce fameux dualboot !
Néanmoins il me reste quelques problèmes : l'affichage bleuté, Linux qui ne semble pas détecter le GPU Nvidia et la wifi qui est bloquée au boot.
Je vais créer des posts dans les catégories adéquates.

Pour qu'on puisse voir comment tu es installé, pourrais-tu faire un Boot-Info mais au lieu de le faire depuis une session live comme tu l'avais fait précédemment, ce serait utile de le faire depuis ta session du Ubuntu installé : de cette façon, on voit mieux comment est paramétré l'UEFI. Tu sauteras l'étape 1 et tu attaqueras directement à l'étape 2

Aucun changement n'a été effectué sur cet ordinateur.On peut voir que c'est une installation en mode EFI de Ubuntu 13.10 version 64 bits. C'est parfait à mon avis. Je ne sais pas trop ce que sont les partitions sda5 et sda6 qui apparaissent comme étant des partitions Windows : si tu sais ce que c'est, ce serait bien que tu en dises un mot, juste pour mon info personnelle : est-ce que c'est toi qui a créé ces partitions ou bien ?
D'autre part, on peut voir ceci dans ce dernier Boot-Info :

Les partitions sda5 et sda6 sont toutes les deux des partitions de restauration Windows. J'en ai vraiment beuacoup, je n'y ai jamais touché.
Concernant le "Secure Boot" jene sais pas comment ça se passe pour les autres PC mais dans le miens c'est une simple option dans le BIOS que j'ai bel et bien désactivé.
Merci d'avoir ajouté mon modèle dans la liste des PC, ça me permetra de potentiellement aider des gens. Je vais probablement désinstaller Linux pour envoyer mon PC au SAV mais dès que je le récupère j'y retourne.

Je viens d'acquérir un ASUS RC10C-XX1312H ......
Bien entendu je souhaiterais le dual boot.
J'ai bien lu le post qui est très complet..
Pour Bonny, qu'elle sont les premières étapes sur cette série de portable ASUS afin de pouvoir booter sur un CD live (pour ma part Linux Mint 16) et faire l'installation.
