Installation driver sur un Lenovo Thinkpad X series X61s - Résolu

Bonjour à tous,
Je viens de nouveau de craquer pour Linux (je viens de Windows 8) mais je rencontre un problème matériel avec le wifi. Je précise que je suis un grand débutant sur Linux.

bonjour,

1/ pas de problème pour les regles, et bravo d'avoir lu les posts épinglé et donc d'avoir mis les retours des commandes de diagnostic permettant de nous aider à t'aider

2/ La 10.04 est trop veille, passe sur une 14.04 LTS (voir une 12.04)

3/ nul besoin de driver (le terme exact sous ubuntu/linux est module) ubuntu a déjà ce qu'il faut, ton problème est entre le clavier et la chaise : activer ton wifi soit avec la combinaison de touche (souvent sur les lenovo avec Fn+F5), et/ou avec l'interrupteur (de tête sur ces modèles, il est caché en façade...encore de tète il est caché quand l’écran est refermé)

Bonjour
Effectivement, un petit bouton bien caché en dessous et le tout est joué tout fonctionne très bien.

Concernant une distribution plus récente, mon portable très ancien et un 12p, raison pour laquelle j'ai opté pour cette ancienne version. Son bureau est parfait pour moi et il fonctionne très rapidement. J'ai peur que ce ne soit pas le cas pour les plus récentes.

de rien, mais domage pour la veille version qui n'est plus mise a jour....cela ne coute rien (a par un peu de temps, d'essayer un distrib plus recente en version live cd
