commence par faire dans le terminal un :

lsusb

Pour qu'on sache comment elle s'apelle.

Oui juste lsusb, rien d'autre avant.
Je ne sais pas pour le hub, je crois que ce n'est qu'un simple "multiprise".

je précise que j'ai pas internet DU TOUT sans le wifi, donc je dois activer la clé AVANT de pouvoir avoir accès à internet

Oui la marque n'a aucune importance c'est le chipset qui est important
Si tu as internet sur un pc windows tu télécharge le driver du tuto sur une clé usb que et tu mets le fichier sur le bureau
une fois que tu as fais ça  signal le et on te donnera la suite des opérations
et donnes ce retour pour vérifié la présence de l'archive sur le bureau

mais j'ai le driver en .inf
seulement je pige pas tout dans la doc du site, je me perds un peu y'a des moments ou je sais pas trop ce qu'il faut mettre dans le terminal

parce que c chiant je bosse sur 1 seule machine, à chaque fois je dois changer l'ordre de boot dans le bios et redemarrer ubuntu puis eteindre, rechanger l'ordre de boot et redemarrer sur xp....

2dite le fichier menu.lst

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

trouve le bloc pour xp
le tiens c'est ça:

et modifie le comme ça:

fais cette commande:

sudo update-grub

et tu peux laisser le disk linux en premier dans le bios tu pourras choisir xp dans le menu de démarrage sans qu'il t'insulte!
c'est bizarre tes disk sont compter a partir de hdc et pas hda, m'enfin ça a l'air de marcher quand même!
