Xubuntu, USB non reconnu

Bonjour a tous
Voila, j'ai un ancien PC portable sur lequel j'ai installé XUBUNTU ( 16.04 LTS) . l’installation c'est très bien passé mais il y a un problème, il ne vois aucun périphérique USB , ni souris ni clé USB ( la souris est alimenté mais pas utilisable , la clé pas détecté)
J'ai essayé plusieurs tuto mais rien a faire.

C'est pour mon fils, internet, divx et minecraft ( ca marche mais sans souris pas terrible)

Dois je mettre une autre version MINT, LUBUNTU ou autre ou avez vous une solution

j'ai essayer d'installer MINT a partir d'une clé USB.
Le boot se passe correctement mais une fois sur le menu de sélection de l’installation de MINT, quand je valide, il y a ce message d'erreur qui apparait

port  4 error reset -110 
cannot enable port 4. maybe the usb cable is bad

et ca pour tous les port USB, c'est étrange car j'arrive a booter dessus

Peux-tu donner le retour de la commande

L'erreur -110 veut peut-être dire que le câble n'est pas en USB3 mais en USB2

Effectivement, on ne voit pas trace de connexion.

Peux-tu débrancher ces deux périphériques, attendre 15 secondes.  Les rebrancher, Attendre ne nouveau 15 secondes et refaire la même commande. Si c'est identique, je crains de ne pouvoir t'aider.
