[Configuration] MSI GS60-6QE60
Bonjour à tous,
Je suis un presque tout nouveau sur linux. Dans le sens où j'utilise quelques distrib (Debian/CentOs) mais uniquement en mode serveur. Pour la petite histoire j'ai eut quelques passages sur ubuntu/archlinux parce que j'ai envie de découvrir ce monde.
Sauf que je m'heurtais à beaucoup de problèmes surtout de type GPU ( galère de comprendre, installer, config le GPU etc)
Donc pour le coup je me motive à fond et je voudrais avoir quelques indices, pistes pour contrôler et surtout comprendre mon système.
Je suis sur un PC portable MSI GS60-6QE60. Mon utilisation principale est le jeu, je serais amené à virtualiser et à piloter des serveurs.
J'ai installé Kubuntu (Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS)
Actuellement je rencontre des problèmes de configuration de certaines choses.
Notamment je galère à régler le contrôleur de volume. Le son fonctionne correctement sur les haut-parleurs, et quand je branche mes écouteurs. Cependant lorsque les écouteurs sont branchés les hauts parleurs continuent la diffusion de la musique.
Côté carte graphique, le modèle de mon PC est réputé pour chauffer beaucoup. de ce fait comme sous windows j'aimerais utiliser le chipset graphique quand je ne suis pas en mode jeu et switch quand je joue, histoire de pas faire fondre mon bureau. (En IDLE si le GPU est utilisé, il chauffe énormément).

Je suis sur un PC portable MSI GS60-6QE60.
Ce nom de modèle n'existe pas. Peux-tu donner le nom correct du modèle ou bien donner le lien vers la page où on peut voir ton modèle (si tu as acheté cet ordi sur un site internet) ?

Je voulais être sûr mais c'est bien une install faite avec l'ISO de la version 16.04.2 puisque tu as un noyau de la famille 4.8.0-x ; tu as bien le noyau le plus récent pour gérer au mieux ton ordi. Je ne suis pas expert en pb d'affichage : ce serait utile que tu ouvres une nouvelle discussion dans la rubrique spécialisée - Affichage et cartes graphiques - pour tes questions sur la partie graphique. Si tu le fais, pense à donner le lien vers la présente discussion, ça t'évitera de re-raconter ta vie.
