Souris qui se bloque
Bonjour
J'ai une souris Logitech qui n'arrête pas de se figer !
Je suis obligé de fermer par le bouton M/A à chaque fois !
Hier j'ai fait un
sudo apt full-upgrade
Résultat, plus de 500 MAJ !!
Pourtant, ça n'a pas résolu ce problème !
Quand elle se bloque, (ça arrive n'importe quand et souvent) le pointeur se transforme en "tiret" vertical, un peu comme un i majuscule avec une petite barre horizontale en haut et en bas du I
Une idée sur le sujet et comment y remédier ?

Tu peux utiliser les touches_magiques#procedure_pour_redemarrer_votre_machine.

ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d -1
500 mises à jour signifie que tu avais du oublier de les faire pendant un bout de temps
Profites-en pour passer l'aspirateur :
sudo apt clean -v
[[ $(dpkg -l | grep ^rc) ]] && sudo dpkg -P $(dpkg -l | grep ^rc | tr -s " " | cut -d " " -f 2)
sudo apt autoremove --purge

Merci ! tu es allé plus vite que moi, j'étais en train de modifier mon message !!
je disais que j'avais fait un upgrade de plus de 500 MAJ, regarde plus haut !
Je ne connaissais pas cette doc, mais je découvre l'univers Linux petit à petit !!
Je suis sous Xubuntu 16.4 LTS, et vu les blocages fréquents, quelle serait la meilleure solution (rapide et surtout simple) pour remédier à ce problème ?
Là, vu le problème, et pour communiquer sur le forum, je suis sous windows !!

Sinon, tu peux utiliser une clé USB pour copier les commandes sur un fichier texte, et retour des résultats récupérés dans le terminal, au moyen de la clé.

Je rajoute que j'ai un problème de RAM:
J'ai 2 barettes de 4Go, mais 4Go vu par Linux !
Windows voit les 8Go, mais 3.9 utilisable !
Comme j'ai testé mes barrettes une par une sur chaque slot, et que mon BIOS est à jour ...

Le swappiness, comme c'est un SSD, et ils disent:
SSD et swap ne sont pas très copains..
Si vous utilisez un SSD, swapper activement dessus peut-être rapidement fatal.
J'ai un SSD et le swap ... je ne sais pas !!

Bon, j'avais échangé les souris, mais ça change rien, je viens de planter encore une fois !!
Je commence à désespérer !!
J'ai lancé un memtest !!
A priori, il ne teste qu'une barrette !!
Je vois Memory : 3996M !!!!!
Je vois aussi : "SMP: Disabled" ça veut dire quoi ?
Je vais pouvoir récupérer le résultat ou ?

Il est possible qu'une des deux barrettes ne soit pas dans le bon emplacement.
Il est aussi possible qu'une des deux barrettes soit HS.
Il faut démarrer avec l'une d'elles et faire un Memtest. Ensuite faire une autre test avec l'autre barrette. Résultat ?
Il faudrait connaître le modèle de la carte mère :
sudo lshw -C bus | head -6
S'il y a des erreurs avec ta RAM, tu verras des lignes rouges s'afficher dans la moitié inférieure de l'écran.

Le mieux serait de tester en enlevant chaque barrette.
L'une d'entre elles semblant morte tu n'auras pas de RAM (tu ne la remets pas évidemment)
