[Résolu]Pas de boot après installation de Lubuntu sur un Satellite Pro

Bonjour à tous,

Utilisateur "du dimanche" de Lubuntu de longue date, je suis confronté à un problème inédit pour moi. Suite à l'installation sans histoire de Lubuntu sur un laptop Toshiba Sateillite Pro C660-22T dont le disque dur principal a été remplacé par un disque dur SSD, il m'est impossible de booter sur l'OS (il m'est impossible de booter tout court en fait)

Voici les caractéristiques de la "bête" qu'il me semble important de vous communiquer

  • Disque dur Kingston SSD SV300S37A60G 60Go (disque dur principal, pas d'autres disques)

  • Bios Phenix SecureCore Tiano v2.0, dans lequel il n'y a pas d'option "UEFI" ou "Secure Boot". Je présume donc, vu l'age du machin que ça tourne uniquement en legacy

J'ai installé Lubuntu comme j'ai l'habitude de le faire (en effaçant l'ancien OS de la machine). Tout se passe bien lors de l'installation (aucun message d'erreur), mais Lubuntu ne se lance pas au démarrage... Tout se passe comme si l'ordinateur n'arrivait pas à trouver Grub et à lancer Lubuntu.
Je n'ai pas spécialement de message d'erreur au démarrage, mais je vois qu'il essaie de booter sur le Disque dur, puis sur le lecteur CD/DVD, pour finalement se résigner et m'afficher la page "Boot Menu" ou je peux choisir sur quel disque je veux démarrer (évidemment, si je sélectionne le SSD, il recommence l'opération pour finir par m'afficher ce même menu...)

Vous trouverez a cette adresse le log réalisé avec boot-repair. J'ai essayé de comprendre, mais c'est du chinois pour mon humble niveau.

Voici les vérifications que j'ai faite avec les compétences qui sont les miennes, sans succès

  • J'ai tenté d'installer Lubuntu 19.10 et 20.04 (beta). Le problème est identique sur les deux versions

  • J'ai fouillé, fouillé et re-fouillé dans le bios pour trouver cette fichue option "secure boot" ou "UEFI/Legacy", rien n'y a fait: elle reste introuvable

  • Dans le bios, j'ai aussi essayé de me créer un mot de passe admin pour voir si ces options n'étaient pas "cachées". Toujours introuvables

  • J'ai essayé de mettre à jour le bios. Pas de mise à jour disponible. Il semble bien que j'ai la dernière version (version 2.0 datant de 2012)

  • J'ai vérifié les sommes MD5 sur les 2 iso (Lubuntu 19.10 et 20.04 beta). Aucun problème de ce coté là

  • J'ai essayé de créer la clé USB bootable avec Rufus, Unetbootin (en téléchargeant l'iso directement depuis l'application), Balenaetcher et win32diskimager. RAS, tout fonctionne de ce coté là

  • J'ai essayé boot repair (en mode simple) via le live USB de Boot Repair, sans succès

J'avoue être à court d'idée et de compétences.
Y aurait-il une âme charitable qui voudrait bien se pencher sur mon problème?

2) installation d'une version en développement (Focal Fossa qui est la future version 20.04) alors que l'ordi est une vieille bécane sortie en 2011 (voir fiche technique ici). C'est la version 18.04 qui convient.

EDIT : je te conseille de faire une installation automatique "Effacer le disque et installer Ubuntu" de la version 18.04. L'installateur fera automatiquement une création d'une nouvelle table de partition MSDOS (à la place de la GPT) et il créera automatiquement une seule partition - la partition racine - qui occupera toute la place sur le SSD.

Merci pour ta réponse.
J'ai installé la version 18.04 comme indiqué, et tout s'est bien passé. Lubuntu boot normalement. RAS

Mais du coup, ce laptop étant destiné à un ami pas franchement copain avec l'informatique (et pour une utilisation basique de chez basique) je trouve cela un peu dommage de ne pas pouvoir profiter d'une version plus récente de Lubuntu, afin qu'il puisse profiter des mises à jour plus longtemps (pour la version 20.04)... Et puis je trouve l'environnement LxQt moins dépassé que celui sous Lxde (mais c'est bien subjectif, je l'avoue).

La version 19.10 et la future 20.04 ne sont pas prévues pour tourner sous des PC fonctionnant encore sans secure boot/legacy/etc?

Pour te faire une réponse plus sure, j'aurais besoin que tu fasses un Boot-info (*) depuis une session de ton Lubuntu fraîchement installé et que tu donnes l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse.

(*) comme tu opéreras depuis le Lubuntu installé, tu suivras le paragraphe 1.1.1 Cas où au moins un ubuntu installé sur disque est opérationnel pour l'install de Boot-info puis le paragraphe 1.2 Utilisation

On voit dans le Boot-info que tu as installé la version 18.04.4. Cette version ayant le noyau et la gestion de l'affichage de la version 19.10, en principe la version 19.10 aurait dû tourner dans cette machine : je ne sais pas trop pourquoi tu n'as pas réussi. Quant à la version 20.04, il est possible qu'elle puisse tourner dans cette machine mais on n'en est pas là puisque cette version est en développement.

EDIT : je viens d'ajouter ton modèle Satellite pro C660-22T dans la Liste des portables « Toshiba »
