Installation problèmatique UEFI windows 10 Lenovo Thinkpad E470
Bonjour à tous ,
J'ai tenté l'installation d'ubuntu LTS sur un Thinkpad Lenovo E470. J'avais préparé mon disque avant avec windows l'installation c'est bien passé mais lorsque je lance Grub passe en mode de sécurité et impossible de voir la partition uefi. Le secure Boot est désactiver et l'uefi sur le mode legacy. Après vérification je me suis apperçut de plusieurs détails j'ai adjoint a ce poste un deuxième disque dur puisque celui ci bootait sur un SSD M2 de 128 g c'était beaucoup trop court avec windows donc j'ai ajouté un disuqe dur de 500 G et c'est sur ce disque que j'ai trouvé la partition EFI c'est pas clair cette histoire j'ai bien vérifier dedans j'ai bien la partition de windows et le Grub mais pas de lancement d'ubuntu qui est lui aussi sur le même disuqe c'est a croire qu'il a complètement mis le ssd de côté je comprends pas trop là
Un coup de main pour pouvoir faire mon dual boot s'il vous plait si vous connaissez ce laptop ou autre pour avancer merci

Afin de voir ce qu'on pourra faire, nous avons besoin d'infos sur ta machine et ton système utilisé. Peux tu ouvrir le terminal et nous donner le retour de ces commandes :
sudo apt install inxi ; inxi -Fz # les specs de la machine
cat /etc/apt/sources.list | egrep -v "(^#.*|^$)" # les sources des dépots
sudo apt update ; sudo dpkg --configure -a ; sudo apt-get install -fy ; sudo apt-get autoclean ; sudo apt-get autoremove --purge -y ; sudo apt full-upgrade -y # nettoie, répare et met à jour
Et nous communiquer un rapport de boot info :

Entrer des commandes dans un terminal et donner le résultat - Voilà la marche à suivre :
Ouvre le terminal avec ctrl-alt-t
Sélectionne la commande voulue avec un triple clic (ça sélectionne toute la ligne, même la fin si on ne la voit pas)
Colle-la dans le terminal avec un clic molette, valide avec Entrée
Sélectionne et copie tout ce que te dit le terminal depuis la commande jusqu'à la dernière ligne incluse
Clique sur le <> de l'éditeur de message
Colle là où se trouve le curseur (entre le ] et le [)
Refais toutes les étapes depuis la 2 pour les autres commandes.

Merci pour votre retour mais je nepeux pas booter sur mon ubuntu uniquement sur mon windows ce qui pose problème c'est grub je ne peux donc pas utiliser un terminal ou alors uniquement à partir de la version d'essais sur le live usb .
JE fais le nécessaire et je vous renvoie tout ça merci pour le coup de main

ou alors uniquement à partir de la version d'essais sur le live usb .
Fais le Boot-info depuis la session Live puis donne l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse. Il y a des commandes proposées par LukePerp qui ne servent à rien du fait que tu vas opérer depuis une session live. Sauf la première commande qui devrait avoir un intérêt pour connaître les specs de la machine.

C'est un méli-mélo de partition. Il y a deux partitions EFI, l'une sur sda et l'autre sur le SSD sdb, mais grub est dans l'EFI de sdb. Linux n'est pas installé. Windows est sur le SSD sdb. Le petit sdb est en GPT mais pas l'autre. Le rapport dit que le secure est actif.
Je préconise de refaire ton installation, en mettant préalablement de l'ordre dans les partitions. Que souhaite au final ? Conserver windows et avoir un dual boot ?

Si tu veux conserver windows, fais le point sur tes besoins. Pourquoi le conserver ? Si tes besoins sont existants et non technique, alors je te propose de t'orienter vers une machine virtuelle de windows dans Ubuntu, avec virtualbox, afin de n'avoir que Ubuntu sur ton ordinateur. Parce que conserver un dual boot pour n'être que rassurer peux en réalité amener des problèmes puisque windows ne voit pas linux et risque de le dégrader au fil de ses mises à jour.

oui je comprends mais ce que je comprends moins c'es pourquoi m'avoir crée une partition EFI sur un disque dur que j'ai ajouté pour avoir un peu plus de place c'est le 500 G, le sda qui devrait être l'esclave en gros. Pour moi le windows est uniquement sur le plus petit ssd le 128G le sdb l'EFI devrait être là je comprends pas le schmilblic lol

Dans la situation actuelle, pas besoin de comprendre les raisons Puisqu'il faut réinstaller Ubuntu. Mais avant, fais le nettoyage de tes partitions et fais le point sur tes besoins de conserver windows, car en fonction, tu seras vraiment gagnant à n'avoir que Linux et windows en machine virtuelle. Quels sont tes besoins pour windows ?

Si tu es ok pour n'avoir que Linux et mettre windows en machine virtuelle dans Linux, alors concernant les partitions, sauvegardes tes données vers un disque externe, déconnecte-le, et formate les deux disques internes. Installe ensuite Ubuntu sur le petit SSD. Tu conserveras le gros pour déposer tes sauvegardes puisque 128 Go suffit largement pour la plupart des gens.

en fait ce PC est le pc familial ma femme et mon fils travaille dessus. Je ne pense pas pouvoir enlever Windows et mettre linux uniquement malheureusement. Moi je travaille uniquement sous linux depuis déjà pas mal d'années mais je n'avais jamais essayé l'installation avec l'EFI pour un premier essai c'est un beau fiasco lol

tu es commercial ou quoi non je plaisante
le problème est plus profond que ça j'ai déjà essayé il y a quelques années de les mettre sur ubuntu c'était Bionic Beever je crois à l'époque ou encore plus vieux enfin bref...
L'expérience n'as pas été très concluante à l'époque j'ai eu un plantage à l'upgrade je crois sur un laptop ibm thinkpad aussi il me semble mais ibm a l'époque lol

non je suis bien d'accord avec toi mais j'ai besoin encore de cet os pour bosser. Je me suis couper d'adobe alors que je bossais avec je me suis coupé d'office je suis parti chez WPS j'ai mon propre cloud héberger sur mon nas je fais beaucoup de choses pour être "protéger" de toute fuite entre parenthèse mais oui je suis d'accord pour les emmener sur autre chose je travaille avec les logiciels Serif affinity je ne sais pas si il tourne sous linux
je n'ai jamais tenté l'expérience ou peut être en machine virtuelle ce serait la solution
